Trading foreign exchange on margin carries a high level of risk, and may not be suitable for all investors. Past performance is not indicative of future results. The high degree of leverage can work against you as well as for you. Before deciding to invest in foreign exchange you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. The possibility exists that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment and therefore you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose. You should be aware of all the risks associated with foreign exchange trading, and seek advice from an independent financial advisor if you have any doubts.

@bayarbayar3099
@bayarbayar3099 3 жыл бұрын
@@kalvin8307 1:1 RR breakeven range is very good risk management! if u entered a trade and successfully got to 1:1 breakeven range then it's good then just lets the trade playout, OR if u saw a good setup but don't have a 1;1 breakeven range then just leave it, it can minimize ur drawdown percentage. Rocky always talks about 1;1 breakeven range. ( Just my opinion hhe)

Some times ago I was trying to catch 1 to 3 r. Psychology was all over the place even with 1 to 2 r . I have created a new system that fits more my trading style and my personality, now it gives me 55-65% win rate with a 1 : 1.2 rr . Not more ! and it has been the best 7 trading months of my life. There is no set in stone rules, you gotta find a way of trading that fits your personality. Bigger RR comes with a lower win rate, lower win rate comes with less confidence, less confidence comes with all the emotions that follows you gotta be aware of that. Good luck every one ✊

Risk rewards ratio is great idea on paper only, and if you apply it to a chart I think it’s meaningless because you should play by the rules of the market that’s many people play by “support and resistance” area, if you do risk reward ratios than you are playing by your own rules “own support and resistance area” take this for example, you take a trade 1:3 then it goes up till 2.90 then hits a resistance area, then wait for it to get back to your stop loss. So, basically you see gains that you don’t take and instead you just wait to lose the trade. I suggest you play buy the rules of the market by areas that many traders watch and play by. You can apply risk rewards ration but base it actually on support and resistance areas. So, move up a little and down a little so it might be 1.55:3.87 instead of 1:3. Good luck everyone. And thanks for the big boss for the video. I have learned so much from you. 👍

This was actually helpful, because until now I have looked for the "traffic" only to know where to place my stop and then always setting my target to 1:2 constantly, but I didn't thought about looking for traffic also in the target profit direction.

I found this channel from a reaction video (s/o to Candice B)! I loved the tips here. Especially, regarding having room to the left when you’re using a 1:3 ratio. I have to try this! I also like to scale out and see what’s happening on the higher timeframes and select my TP level(s) from the 1HR or 4 HR charts, which is perfect in a trending market. Thanks for the content!

Great video. An issue not factored in this video is the % risk that one would take. If you only take a 1% or max 2% risk then you cant put the stop loss above or below support resistance levels. As a result you might be stopped out as the trade pulls back a bit. If you do place your stop loss too high or too low you run into a major risk management issue.

A valuable tutorial and very educative. It really make sense. If I have to go for a 1:2 in order to win base on market conditions, then it is better than targeting 1:3 when all indications points out it’s unlikelihood. However, if there is no traffic as you were saying with a strong trend, then why not go for 1:3 which what we all want. I really found GOOD VALUE in your analysis. Thank you.

It's a way higher probability that your 1:1 will be hit in compared to your 1:3 I would suggest that when your 1:1 hits take profit, take half profit, set stops at break-even, and then go for a 1:3. Even if the price does come back down you won't lose money and you will be in profit from your 1:1 trade. Overall great video!

Can a beginner trader deal with losing 70% of the time and being in draw-down 50-60% of the time (which is the reality of higher RRRs) ? Beginners should start on 1:1 to build confidence and consistency; then build from there.
@gfx8900
@gfx8900 3 жыл бұрын
Exactly! I clicked this video to see if the psychological aspect of high RR trades is mentioned. New traders will lose 3-4 times in row and then think their strategy is bad and then switch to a different one and then it happens all over again until they eventually just quit....I wish this aspect was mentioned more because that is the true reality of the situation.

@jimmyboyle9120
@jimmyboyle9120 Жыл бұрын
so when you enter a trade and you see a line indicating where you have entered, up or down this is your break-even point. Once price moves in your direction you want and is an equal ratio to the size of your stop loss you can go ahead and close your stop loss by dragging it down to your trade entry level/line on your chart, thus making it a 100% safe trade if it pulls back to try and stop you out. you will lose nothing or maybe even a slight profit..... you may also lose the commission for that trade to but that is better than losing your 1% or what ever you risk.
