Monkey Shoulder is great! I wanted to try a different blended scotch for cocktails, so I bought Compass Box Artist Blend. I can definitely recommend that one too!

Yeah, I’m not a Whisky drinker, but even I can appreciate the step up in Quality as it’s a Blended Single Malt Whisky not just a Scotch. I know there’s kind of a translation difference in the US. But Scotch here is kind of the lowest quality. Where as Single Malts are the Superior. For for example Monkey Shoulder is in Chivas territory, not Bells or Famous Grouse.

@@StevetheBarmanUK Your channel is really good and you’ve come on leaps and bounds in terms of your tastes and knowledge since you started it. I’ve learned loads in the very short time I’ve been watching, so I thank you for that. However with the platform comes a responsibility to present accurate information, and being a nice guy with a good vibe does not mean one can’t be criticised. However I do apologise for my tone as it was critical criticism, which is not as constructive as it should be. You’ve been in the game longer, but in a lot of hobby spaces, there’s been a plethora of newly crowned “experts” that gained their platform over lockdown when people had more time on their hands to create, and captive audience to take advantage of. It’s resulted in an echo chamber effect. Anyway, fair play for calling me out on my tone.
