so Jon Voight hijacked a documentary boat to go snake hunting LOL. It sounded so ridiculous but it actually is pretty creative compare to most monster flicks out there. Still one of my favorite monster flicks out there. Not to mention how real the snake looked in 1997.

this movie came out in 1997, non of these guys were household names yet, even Ice Cube who was well known in the rap game, but rap only started to become mainstream in the mid 90s and to most average movie goers, Ice Cube was just "another token black guy" (the first rap song that caught mainstream media attention ironically was Ice Ice Baby in 1990). I watched this movie in cinema, and I had no idea who the actors were until many years later.

I don't know whether to be angry or not when he said "it's no good to me dead", literally not caring about the death of a precious human life. But then again, these people literally asked for it when they signed up for this expedition. They were fully aware of the dangers when they went out on this adventure, so they literally have only themselves to blame.
