Sci-fi movies are all the rage right now, but what about the classics?? Today, we're going through my favorite retro sci-fi movies BEFORE the 1980s! I think many people think the best came during that decade, but most are actually remakes/heavily influenced by the movies of the 50s & 60s.

Keep the faith Chris, you'll get there mate. I have 4.. ha!!!! I find the more you re-visit and re-watch 2001, the more you get and see. When I first saw it, I was 14 and was bored out of my mind. Great list by the way. I would add the original The Time Machine which is excellent. Soylent Green, Planet of the Apes, WestWorld, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Mad Max (1979)
