One honorable mention I'd like to add is Granny Dahnie's season skill. Her's makes her do damage to targets she has controlled for 2 seconds. The reason it's good beyond the base level of 'Yeah, she controls, so it's damage,' is because normally *her ult can't kill.* Her ult can get people down to 1hp, but it can't finish enemies. The addition of Lock on Projectiles gives her that kill secure on her ult that she needed.

That Marilee comes back in endless mode is likely true - in hard she already is on par with Odie for me with similar investment (supreme+ / +10)

Tbh if you stay and think about it, all the characters are buffed even tho some have bigger and better abilities. But considering that these seasonal abilities dont replace any older ones but actually add one as bonus, that character will better anyway

Nirus turn him into a straight up tank if positioned right and he is appropriate level or at least you're fighting at resonance

Vala def melts characters off the first few seconds with her seasonal ability. Been using her as a counter to maxed out Dionels and such units that need time to ramp up in Supreme Arena.

I still play S+ Cecia with a +5 weapon and she’s still mostly fine.

Still waiting for my servers season to unlock! We’ll be waiting until mid June unfortunately. Hopefully we’ll still be able to make it through all the content over the 4 months of updates.

So much better than collabing with someone like Gikku, Zeebo is actually competent. Hopefully more of this in the future he's probably the most insightful AFK youtuber.

I think Cecia is still useful at least for me. I'm on Stage 200 on seasonal stages and I've used her in about 70% of the stages. Maybe I could have progressed further if I just used Odie and Manualed, but meh... this is afk game I don't want to sit for hours trying to beat 1 stage at a time 🤣🤣

Regretting waiting to start my journey because I’m only on day like 18 and all the content is for the new season now haha

Alsa seems bugged, she keeping aiming minions and Invencible dudes, like Vala before patch with fix. I dislike Smokey too much, everytime getting CC.

I don't play the game just to do what people and a tier list tells you don't be slaves to metas and what people tell you do your own research try testing characters on your own based on your play style

Shakir has the worst seasonal skill, should of given him ATK + Life Steal buff.

We've seen the seasonal abilities and why they aren't particularly interesting with every AFK Arena system that has ever released - only it's even more apparent with seasons, since they are not permanent systems. It's a low budget addition that is easy to implement, can be copied to multiple characters, and the effects are not impactful enough to necessarily break the game. It might make a weaker unit viable for a period of time (or season, think Thane engraving in AFK Arena making him decent in PVP and AE for a season), but in the long run won't impact what is good vs. not good. Ultimately, the abilities/system is just not that interesting.

I played and enjoyed AFK Arena for more than 3 years. But AFKJ made me in only 50 days to want to uninstall it, same as Dislyte. Also i can't fully trust content creators opinions (we all know why). Farlight games showed us the greedy face from the first few weeks. For sure, this was the last time i played a game from this company. Not all players are dumb and blind, even if in game puzzles are for 3yo! 👎
