For those who haven't heard the whole story about Justin he has been kicked out fully by adult swim.... apparently he had already been a HR nightmare at their offices (more sexual harassment stuff ) and this was a last straw , he hasnt even written for the show since season 3 only phoning in his lines from home.. adult swim has announced they will continue the show ultimately recasting new actor(s) for the roles of Rick and Morty

I like the implication that Rick Prime and C-137 were the two Ricks that created portal tech. "Ricks don't pass on this" implies that every Rick that Rick Prime comes in contact with takes the portal gun from him, and the scenes showing C-137 building the Citadel show him also handing out portal guns.

Honestly the first episode is my favorite for character development showing what all the characters go through in their home dimension, the people of the sun episode however I found the most funny

Fuck that "Overlapping Voice Over" section late in the video. I had to skip over that part because it was messing with my brain too much. This kind of thing has affected me negatively in the past before and it really gets on my nerves. For example, you're in a subway, and two people are just blaring their music for all to hear. That sound mixer of two random songs playing like that is like nails on a chalkboard to me. Another quick example is two people in a small room playing two different KZfaq videos out load and at the same time. I felt the need to give you some feedback because if I found this to be uncomfortable then it's reasonable to assume others do as well. Keep up the good work but please...no more of that!

Season 6 was IT! Every episode had its own unique quirk but it felt like it was going somewhere. I love the slow tease building to the potential that Season 7 will be mostly Canon, which is delicious. I love Rick and Morty and Rick and Morty love me. ❤️

I know it's a bit late, but I did want to address the Fortune Cookie episode. The first time I watched the episode, it was pretty intensely uncomfortable, and I walked away disliking it and felt like it had thrown away a really good story. That said, I always watch the episodes twice since my sister also likes the show and she's never awake when they air in my time zone, so I watched it again and honestly loved it. It's the kind of thing where I feel like if you know what's coming, it's never as bad the second time around. I really don't mind it at all now, and can focus on all the amazing other stuff the episode has going for it. In fact, it has a claim for being my favourite episode of Season 6 (although the Night Family and Pissmaster ones might take the cake). It also helps now that S7 is out and as far as I remember there was pretty much no incest in it?

as a Long time Rick and Morty fan this was truly the Best Season in recent years and Season 6 had the best character dynamics and great character development within the Smith Family and Rick went through as a broken down man to hunt down Rick Prime

I definitely think that sometimes they do cross a line where it's not as funny but just a little uncomfortable. I do love the Beth clone episode though. Waiting for there to be this big conflict between Beth and Jerry for it to end up being a scene where they and space beth are progressively exploring something then the hard cut to morty rick and summer listening to everything over dinner absolutely kills me every time. I couldn't breathe the first time I watched it. Personally, though, I also think that is far less weird than the Jerry/mom thing- probably because I don't have a clone and I tend to think of space beth as a completely different character, where as I do have a mom and that's something no one likes to think about. I think you're right that it could have been funny if it was just a mentioned stake of the episode and not shoved in our faces so much. We will not mention the incest baby in space, because I didn't like any part of that episode honestly.

Season 7 has been even better! The "bad" seasons were really just telling fans to shut the fuck up, they'll make whatever they want to make, and the existential crisis in the show between what the fans "want" and what the creators "want" to make. I feel like it was specifically to drive some people away, even. To make the manic-ness of the fandom die down.

I wanted to like Season 6, but I just thought it was okay. The show felt a bit more predictable this season, which really sucks because the unpredictability of Rick and Morty is what makes early episodes so good. The humor also just doesn’t hit like it used to. I almost think the long delays between seasons made for better episodes.

The fortune cookie explenation could be that rick prime created a "you will become immortal" cookie which either turned him immortal or is protecting him until he figures that out in which case he is immortal regardless

Honestly, this season was my favorite since season 4. I just feel like every episode had a purpose. Furthermore, I feel like every main character also actually served a purpose. Typically Beth is just kinda there, and Jerry is a scapegoat to make fun of, but this season they both served a lot of genuine purposes. Sure, Jerry still got makde fun of a bit, but he was still a solid character this season. I felt nothing but satisfied at the end of every episode.

If bringing up incest makes you go insane, you better stay from the Games of Thrones universe. 😂😂😂🤡
