Damn, these boxes are so random, I ordered only 6 boxes (half a case) and I pulled: 2 ash blossoms, 1 ghost ogre, 3 ghost reaper, and 3 droll and lock birds. Unfortunately, I got no raigeki, card of demise or utopia the lighting, but I was happy of I got overall.

So kind of a dumb question but is there anywhere on the box that states if the packs are 1st edition? They have some of these at my store and wanna pick up at least 1. I figure they probably are since the set is only like a week old .

That is a huge kick in the sack, not one Ash Blossom out of a case.. still an awesome opening though! 3 Raigeki and 3 Droll, 2 Ghost Ogre. Plus you pretty much got play sets of all the secrets! Keep it up brother!

New sub to channel. Considering joining the game (play MTG but it’s a mess atm) n saw the wave of light vid then this. Considering buying into both. I’ve got a question I need answered if anyone can help me if a card say it is unaffected by spell and trap effects does that be it is unaffected by spell and traps altogether?

yes it is unaffected by spell and traps, what else would it mean? also unaffected by your OWN spells and traps if its your card, unless it specifies enemy spells and traps...

Legendary Collection Kaiba is actually pretty good but Konami is just being an ass. Why did they not reprinted Blue eyes alternative white dragon and replaced it with the promos as secret rares which is retarted besides the fact that pulling short printed cards are annoying. No one is rich these days you know .-.

@cyberknight so about the short print, Konami announced it in a post but deleted the post afterward, after seeing some openings I can confidently say they deleted the post because they decided to pull a "komoney" move and short print the cards everyone wants (hand traps)

Okay, Im not going to complain at all. I opened one box and got an Ash, Ghost Ogre, Card of Demise, Double Summon and Terraforming. My second box had Droll and Ghost Reaper. My husband picked them out. He's always had good luck with that sort of thing.

Was your case sealed? Cause I can totally see it being put together from cases that got their ashes removed. Here in Europe ash seems to be not be as shortprinted

Like the nostalgia of this Legendary Collection, could've done with more from Duelist Kingdom and Battle City such as Hyozanryu, Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon, Meteor Dragon, Meteor B. Dragon, Sanga of the Thunder, Suijin, Kazejin, Gate Guardian, Black Skull Dragon (alternate art perhaps?) Millennium Shield, Time Wizard (alternate art?) and Ritual Form of Chaos Emperor Dragon that is playable.

I went to the village games that was up in Champlin and although someone beat me to the only collection box they had, the lucky bastard managed to pull Ash Blossom... one of the toughest cards ever and most expensive.

no Terraforming or Ash or Beelze thats truly despicable they should send you a playset of every card in the set for what you do for this community HAPPY ANNIVERSARY NEVER CHANGE the 8610 being removed was enough change for one lifetime. i was wondering what you do with all the boxes and gameboards from when you open this type of thing? I love collecting the boxes from stuff like this so thats why i was asking. also Vampire Lord was used in the Pyrimid Of Light Movie. I'm sorry you didnt get your Ash, but Konami retracted the statement about no shortprints. all the handtraps where shortprinted as well as a couple other cards like Raigeki. House Of Champs did a video talking about the ratios of pulls. Ash is only suposed to be like 1 per case if that. overall its a cool set though and cant wait to open the boxes i got. Great opening BTW, I loved this video. - Danger!

I opened my first box today (planning to get a couple more) and got Droll & lock bird, secret King of D, secret Rapsody, secret Blue eyes shining dragon, Ancient fairy dragon, Sage with Eyes of blue, and Ash freaking Blossom! EDIT: Also ABC dragon buster & a Blue eyes lol

It’s an awesome set with great reprints, but I can agree it was a bad idea putting the promos in the packs as well. There are too many good reprints so I imagine Konami is just planning to add blue eyes alternative in a future set as that alone will make people want to buy it. It’s all about marketing 😋😂

First I'd like to say I did pre order 3 and look forward to it but I have to disagree about it being the best box. I'm sorry. With all the chase cards being incredibly short printed, having useless filler cards like Judgeman, not having Blue-eyes Alternative at all AND on top of everything; the promo cards are also in the packs making the pull ratios worse.

I still think it's one of the best sets but I 100% agree that they made some terrible decisions with this set too. I just hope the next Battle of Legends pack will be like last years and give us good easy to pull reprints.

This is the only legendary collection that I would actually consider buying one for myself and then asking one for my birthday, which is next month. And even then, I might buy 2 despite me not exactly having the most money.

Watched a guy open a case to the tune of 4 ghost reaper, 4 ghost ogre, 5 droll, 3 ash, 3 raigeki, 2 utopia and 2 beelze. Best opening ive seen so far. But when you factor in openings like those vs ones like this with no ash. I bet it does even out. There probably isnt any short prints. But they arent nessessarily distributed well.

Aaron Lawton That was a Europe case. The Europe release has better ratios for the more desirable cards. Konami America strikes again
