This turret tower is one of the most modifiable and adaptable designs for its size category, and it holds up quite well for its size. If you are looking for an early game turret tower design to stave off enemies from your base, I would recommend trying out this design! What is great about this design is that you can ACTUALLY Refill the Turrets! No more grapples and hassle.
Please do let me know what line of sight, weak points, and structural flaws you encounter with this build so I can improve upon it!
MATERIAL LIST:
6 Metal triangle foundations
12 metal pillars (modifiable)
6 metal ramps
17 metal triangle ceilings
31 metal walls (modifiable)
5 metal ladders
1 generator
30 turrets (modifiable)
OF COURSE, you can add more for increased level count and turret count

Awesome I'll be using this for our starter towers until we feel like making the giant ones, may even keep these around the giant ones in tek gen range later too. I like how easy it is to fill and place turrets. Underrated benefit during raids

Yeah the refill I feel like is aways overlooked. Hopefully some better designs to come!

i really enjoyed this video, the only thing i am missing is the material list in the video with the pictures, it may sound silly but im a very visual person and this would make a huge improvement in my opinion. subscribed and excited for more of your designs with tests!

I know this is a crazy idea, but how about they just make turrets actually work right so you don't need 500k of them every 6 feet?

A friend named Logan taught me how to hover turrets. Build from thatch first and place turrets in the center. Then replace the thatch walls with double doorframes. Gives them 360 degrees of firing

Hi man, loved the video and found it really helpful really helpful. Was just wondering that if i wanted tek turrets as well as heavy’s, where would be the best place to place the tek gen? i was thinking on the ground under the triangle foundis?

You can put them at almost any angle but from playing official I’ve learned the best spots are on directly walls/cave walls, on ceilings, and spaced far enough apart to prevent rocket spam

Why somany on the wall? They wont target you if ur higher up or flying by

Walls, just like in caves, have amazing 360 FOV. This is where you’re mainly try to prevent early PvP around you base and low level flyers. There’s a few on the top, and I did test this flying by as the enemy. If you’re directly on top, only 2 can target you BUT, in order to GET directly over, your bird is not going to make it (again early game)

@@GrasslandsStudio can you make a video about normal turret towers for mid game? Im on pillars on scorched and i have no clue how to make a few towers since we can only use 100 turrets total

You can just walk up to these on a stego and blow them with no more than 2 rockets.

Obviously stego tanking is always going to be a thing. This is great for early to mid game, especially to keep flyers away. If you’re dealing with Stegos, then at that point, it’s a full fledged raid. You can also place some on players only so that they target the Rockets being shot. We use this on official. Only way to prevent is either you would have to go into a cave or build massive skeleton towers that’ll buy you more time. Soaking turrets can never be avoided, it’s just about buying time imo

Also wanted to add, since i did forget, I would recommend making sure you're on hardcore mode if testing stuff out. I did use C4 and rockets, it definitely takes more than 2 to knock it down if you did drain all the ammo. So, I think you'll be safe enough to respond to an attack!
