I slapped a nasty BMP mountain can on my Polaris indy 500. I think this thing sounds so good that it might break the internet. Subscribe if you want.

Sounds great! I have the 1996 EFI SKS Indy 500 Unicorn With the 12"Extra suspension all around.. I buckled the right trailing arm and 90°ed the Fox shock... They stopped making the trailing arms, less than 3 yrs, after they made them.

I have always heard that after market cans will blow up an XLT as in they like to melt XLT pistons. Is there any truth to this.
@blackmasta712 жыл бұрын
@@michaeljohnson1457 a Can no. Pipes yes. But it is always good to check your plugs after a wide open run to make sure they are not white.
@michaeljohnson14572 жыл бұрын
@@blackmasta71 Thank you for the insight. I tend to stick to stock everything on my sled. The thing about the cans is something I've been told by a couple people that run triples and cooked pistons but likely for a different reason.

I miss this! The first Indy Polaris 500 that I ever rode on was a little different poweful. Very different from the newer Indy Polaris 500 switchbacks, ugh. I don’t think there as fun. When you hit the gas on these older ones, the top comes up you don’t even need to jump it but the new ones don’t do that you’d have to make a jump and I also like the back where you could hold on and pull somebody because we did that as kids yes, I was riding a Indy Polaris 500 by the time I was eight years old. 😊 however, mine was brand new at the time. My two sisters and I made these jumps that were big and we would floor it and hit these jumps and actually broke a part inside of the snowmobile and it was brand new. My dad was kind of upset about it. He had to take it apart and fix it but stuff happens when you’re a kid and you feel invincible. Now that I’m in my 40s, when I go snowmobiling on a rented sled I don’t do that anymore. I stay on the trails. However, on the straightaway with new powder, I will floor it and do whatever I want. I’ve never rolled a snowmobile or been hurt on one and I’m not stupid enough to get caught in a tree well. However, I have seen people do dumb things. We were lucky we never got hurt. I’m surprised we never did with what we were doing but we did do something to the snowmobile that my dad had never seen before. My dad was an expert on a snowmobile and a engineer. Great video 😊 it brought back some good memories.

Do you understand that a pipe is tuned for a engine, modifying a pipe without the right knowledge and your just losing power and doing it just for sound
