Yet again, a wonderful review with so much going into the details. What I very much appreciate are the many impressions you are providing here. That says a lot about a product with being so consistent (minus the bass). I guess I am lucky that my main amplifier only likes 8 Ω speakers. 😝 But honestly, that's a hell of a speaker in a beautiful cabinet. And just when €40k seem to be an impressive price point, you're mentioning a speaker pair for twice that much. That made me a happy maggot. 😇 Thank you, Morten!

It's just wonderful the equipment you get to be around , I'm still getting over the R1 reference amplifier and speakers you have at home by technics , incredible.

I only own the SB-R1 speakers and use them for reference. They are finally getting a run for their money in this company 🙂. The R1 AMP / Control center are great though. Especially the Network Control Unit is really underrated. I cant recall having heard such great DAC, and would use it just for that if I stumble upon one for sale.

Great video, thank you! As these speakers cost almost as much as my house when I bought it….. thirty four years ago, I will never own them but I do appreciate them and your review. I DID just listen to the 1812 Overture through my Cornwall iv’s powered by my PS Audio M1200 monoblocks. I about jumped out of my seat from that first big bass hit 😂. Listening to your Sonic Snacks playlist now. Thanks again!!

Thank you for the kind comments. Yes, that recording will really make the use of the fantastic headroom and bite they have! I believe the cannons firing calls for like 20-25db additional headroom 🤣. Amazing stuff. Thank you for commenting and watching the channel.

How did they perform just with the Lyngdorf tdai 3400?

We did not test it using the 3400 power amps. Based on the performance in general using the HEGEL H600, Gryphon Diablo 300 and Nurprime Evolution two amps, I would lot have any problems using the 3400. Its not very critical about the amp. In fact DALI themselves will routinely demo them using NAD Master series amps, and only pull out exsotic amps when they have guest displaying psychological problems with that :-D

@@stjernholmreviews When you play some clips from some songs on the speakers and record it. There was a little bit of that in this video but was missing on the other speaker reviews . Also a good quality mic is obviously needed for that .

Dude, what's wrong with you? Did you give yourself a strong coffee enema? These speakers are only slightly better than the Epicon 8.

Is this coming from a man who actually heard them side by side, or from a man that owns a pair of Epicon 8 and want to stay in a world where that is true?😉 We found it to be a blast of a speaker. The midrange driver takes this speaker to a whole new level. We cant wait to hear more based on this.

Its the silicon valley of HIFI here 😆. See more reviews, i don’t think you will find us particularly biassed. Danish brands can be easier to come by for review though, as I often get lame excuses from companies in the US and germany when requesting products for test.

FR30 is not a fair right, too easy for the Dali. But Danish older brother Dynaudio can normally take care of little brother Dali (or anyone else for that matter), Try Dynaudio Contour 30i for 7,000 Euro against these Dalis: (Demo: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/b656ZbR616y3mps.html ) Danish older brother still sits on the loudspeaker throne.

@connorduke4619 I am not so sure...to be honest.. Let me put it like this: Dynaudio HAS not been interested in participating in a comparison... even though we been asking several times to review the Confidence 60..

@@stjernholmreviews Ok it is a pity. There is a German comparison site where Dynauudio is probably their most compared brand, and iits pasive speakers win virtually every comparisoo against KEF, Monitor Audio, Canton, etc.
