Honestly I’ve been running it for 50k miles and no issues at all so far (knock on wood) haha the only downside side is the chatter is pretty bad but it holds all the power

we ended doing it on the second day we just didnt film to get it done faster haha

So far so good man no issues at all! The only down side I can see is obviously the chatter is kinda loud and I don’t think this will last as much as like a organic disc setup, being a (racing use) 6 puck clutch setup I don’t think it will last as long. But for the money stage 2 is rated to 680ft pounds so I think it’s perfect

@@ChrisFromKenya Thanks for the reply bud! The chatter doesn’t bother me. I’ve already ran two DKM Stage 2 and one Southbend Stage 3 Enduarance kits on my MK7 GTI. The DKM Stage 2 chatter was pretty loud. SB not so much. But both kits had pretty heavy pedal feels (DKM was heavier than SB). So I’m used to chatter and a heavy pedal feel. I just had this XClutch Stage 2 installed, and wow. The pedal is very light! Just like OEM. Very nice! I’m still in break in, but so far loving it! The XClutch Kit definitely looks like a better build than DKM or SB, and due to it using a 6-puck, the pressure plate doesn’t need to be so stiff like DKM or SB, hence why the clutch pedal is softer. I also opted to use an OEM TOB/Slave instead of the one that came in the XClutch kit (they provided the all-metal version), because I just haven’t had good luck with the TOB/Slaves that came with the kits themselves. Hopefully going OEM, I don’t have any more TOB/Slave failures. Can’t wait to actually get on this thing, but I’m very anal about sticking with break-in + more, so I’m probably going to go a fell 1,200 miles for break-in before I get on it. I’m only 130 miles into it right now, so a long way to go haha.

@@JacesOwnWorld Yours must of had the clutch reshimmed when installed which i didnt do. The pedal feel is definitely 50% over stock feel, it has a 2600lb pressure plate so it is nowhere near stock feel. I wish Xclutch offered a Full face cera-metallic for less harsh engagement. The All metal TOB can handle the most abuse, the one in the kit is the European/International style used for their OEM just rebranded. Clutch can definitely take the abuse, I autocrossed/tracked/roll raced mine until it grenaded a few days ago with 32k miles on it. Next I'm going is DKM Stage 3 or XClutch Twin Disk. Enjoy the clutch, wasn't fun to daily drive 20k+ miles a year with my girlfriend, as she hated it. If you have upgraded motor/trans mounts and dogbone the chatter will be multiplied. #racecar. Never slipped on me once though and I'm EQT Stage 2 E30 which is awesome.

I had 3 trackdays, 2 seasons of autocross, and multiple roll races until it grenaded @ 32k miles. It will last 40+ if you drive more conservative and don't use it for its designated purpose..(Racing, and HPDE's). This was all on EQT's Stage 2 E30.

Hell yeah brother!! Me personally I think dsg is best for golf r and manual is most fun with gtis! Just remember if you wanna make decent power you will 100% have to have the clutch done in a manual that’s the only downside

So x clutch only does like stage 1 2 and 3 and stage 2 is rated to 680 torque so it’s basically stage 2 plus

So fast review, it’s definitely chatters quite a bit and you just have to get used to how grabby it is when it engages, but other than that holds all the power and pedal is heavy. I would say overall if your gonna do a basic stage 2 setup their stage 1 clutch would be perfect but if your gonna do anything more this is a really really good option. Quality was also very good! Hopefully that helps man I’m terrible at explaining things haha

Dude I love this setup but I will say it’s pretty narly like border line would be hard to daily haha I would say south bend stage 2 or 3 daily depending on the power you wanna make or XClutch stage 1 is actually way more forgiving and holds stage 2 power 🔥 take a peep at bmp tuning and look at the XClutch’s they have all the specs
