Wow 🤩 this suite looks amazing, love the decor and that huge balcony. Also the coffee machine is a nice touch. I fell in love with that bathroom! I’m sure you were sad to leave 😢

How was it? Also, how do you book these rooms? Are they not available online, or are all of them booked forever? I just can't seem to fine a single cruise with availability..

Looks like a cracking room - great size for a family to cruise in! Also, that balcony is LUSH with a great choice of furniture!

Good afternoon we have upgraded to the suite below this one 12737. We have already booked the retreat for our 2 weeks but are now wondering if it is worth it as we now have our nice balcony, do you have any advice, also will the butler deliver drinks to our room if we decided to spend a day on the balcony

@@cliffdawson8881 hi, we think the retreats are overpriced and much prefer our balcony for that bit of private space. If you want to make a day of it then just pop to the buffet, pick up some food and take it back to your cabin & balcony. When we board, I always give our butler a list of drink we would like in our cabin already for when we sail. Then top up as and when. Remember that if you book anything from room service, go through your butler, there is no delivery charge. One of our favourites is telling the butler, the night before, we would like breakfast, full from MDR, on our balcony.

Think it is about time that P&O stumped up for a wet bar for guests in suites in line with Cunard Queens Grill. It would be a relatively small cost for them. We had a suite on Arcadia for a month and the butlers were head & shoulders above Cunard IMHO at the time. Nice video.

Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment. I do agree with you about the suite offering - A dedicated lounge or area (like on Cunard, Princess, MSC, Virgin Voyages and Celebrity - to name a few) would be a start.

Thanks for another awesome suite tour video Steph - this looks absolutely cracking! We are huuuge fans of that wrap around balcony - we need to get a taste of the aft life 😍 How did you find crossing the Bay of Biscay? We imagine it's not too bad in a ship of Arvia's size?

Thanks so much! 😊this was such an amazing suite. I wish we could have stayed on for longer. Aft life is the best! 😉 BoB crossing was ok and not as bad as we feared (in the winter) Capt. Camby seemed to plot a great course so we missed much of the really big swells. One of the advantages of being at the aft is that the pitch and roll was dampened a bit compared to the front, plus it still quite sheltered from the wind.

Is it correct that Suite guests take breakfast in the Epicurean restaurant? Is the same as the MDRs but just a different venue or do they offer additional/different dishes?

It is correct - and it’s lovely. It’s a set menu across all the fleet which is slightly different to the MDR - I’ve got a video coming up very soon which runs through the menu and dishes.

We have the suite above booked, one question, our daughter is in the balcony cabin next door down the side, can the partition be opened up so that she can walk straight onto our balcony?

Great choice of suite - you will have an amazing cruise! Be sure to get up early for the sunrises! When you meet your butler in the first day, just mention that you’d like the partition to be kept open - the cabin steward will arrange this.

Hi, I just booked the Arvia Aft Suite 15735 the Timor Suite, I thought it was 4 berth (only has twin beds & single sofa bed), was hoping for: twins in bedroom & single sofa bed & single Pullman bed. Do you know where these ones are located in the aft part of ship? Thanks.

We had a good balance of both shelter from the rain but also plenty of sunshine too - we chose this specific one as it had less overhang than the one on deck 15 above.

One without a sink. There used to be a sink with tap in some of the mini suites and suites on the older ships.

Food orders are free but you still have to pay for drinks (even if you have the deluxe package) as room service orders and drinks are not included as a suite perk - for more info on the suite perks see this video. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/p69hnKhizcjepqM.html

Sorry to be a Debbie Downer we did the same suite on iona front wrap round balcony absolutely rubbish for the money suite was so disappointing couldn't use balcony high winds and on day 4 the door was blown off the hinges

Oh no! That sounds a nightmare. Hope it got resolved for you on board. I think there is a HUGE difference between the balcony space if the forward v aft suite on Iona and Arvia - which is why I put together this blog post cruisewithamber.co.uk/best-suites-on-po-cruises-arvia-full-review-arvia-suites-to-avoid/ as it’s not always clear from the deck plans what the differences are. The front suites and cabins are a no no terrible views as not glass balconys and if really windy then balconies are usable Aft wrap around suites are fantastic

Pays all that money for a suite 😂 still has to eat the shit food in the same restaurants and the rat van burgers they serve in the take away. Never understand why people who can afford suites sail on such low quality lines. I love a P&O cruise buts it’s a budget experience in all ways.
