Honestly I think Red Hood was really awkward to play his buttons just didn't seem to line up with his actions/animations, I was really excited when he was announced but eventually disappointed by the way he played, I just wished most characters in NRS games had similar button inputs, 20 years playing fighting games and i still get annoyed by characters that have silly inputs like Tremor and Red Hood (I prefer a simple approach as it allows for more focussed thinking and planning)

Sometimes, I feel like I'm alone. On one side, less Red Hood players mean less opponents know the matchup well, so it can lead to some easy wins. On the other side, it is kind of depressing how not a lot of people play him despite the fact that people requested him and his gameplay is super fun. Same thing with Spawn like Dave said.

@@crashingblow3753 personally I mained Spawn and Scorpion in MK11 but I eventually became more of a Spawn main because less people knew the matchup and I could catch them for some easy combos that would be more difficult as if I were to play Scorpion since everyone knows the matchup. I really enjoy Spawn too! Still main him to this day

Yeah. It’s the most balanced game NRS ever made just off the fact that pretty much every character is super strong. The universal tools in Inj2 just work really well for balancing out the different archetypes. Shame the majority of the NRS player base didn’t enjoy the game

I live by a philosophy when it comes to fighting games: everyone should be overpowered so that nobody is overpowered every character should have something that makes them be considered broken, that way the playerbase can't complain that a specific character is broken.

There is one strat you didn't mention when talking about Red Hood's akimbo blaze. You can also use that as an overhead for your bomb set up which can be pretty useful especially if the bomb and the player was too far for you to get close and do a forward 3, so instead of that you jump up, fire down the bullets, and the opponent has to block the instant overhead/low mixup. This would catch a lot of players, especially given how it is multiple overheads, so it is hard to block especially with the bomb under their feet I seriously love Red Hood in this game.

Characters like Red Hood are why Injustice 2 is my favorite NRS game so far. The roster was so diverse and creative. I really hope if there’s an Injustice 3, they double down on what they got right.

OH YES!!! I was just about to ask if you could make a Red Hood video. My favorite character in Injustice 2. Honestly, I felt really hyped when they announced him. He is just a good character overall, and I really loved his gameplay. Mixups, pressure, bomb set ups, that amazing chip damage, the mobility, a parry, all that cool stuff I love about fighting game characters. His character power is also pretty good since it adds more to his pressure and mix up game. I love this character so much. Thank you so much for making this video, Trueunderdawggaming.

i wish inputs were easier to do in this game. i can barely pull off the ground mine extension bc you have to hold back instantly after doing the input. which is why i mostly play batman now since he’s way easier.

@@leonardomendoza2904 Honestly, my safest bet is Injustice 3. I feel like MK12 or even that Marvel fighting game is too good to be true (especially the marvel game). Plus, it would sort of break the trend of one different game every two years. Two years MK, two years IJ. Know what I mean? That's why I think IJ3 is the most safest bet. Besides, I have been enjoying my time playing IJ2, so I kind of look more forward to Injustice 3 than MK12. I just feel like I need a break from MK for now.

@@lordronn472 writing and I’d even go as far as to say gameplay. they dialed down on a lot of options for combos and most strings are just pretty animations that deal heavy damage/ push you away and that’s it. It just felt like you could do alot more with a fighter in MK9-MKX even i1 n i2 you can fight more expressively.

Yo Underdawg, MK12 was just leaked quite a bit. You think you could look into it? Articles on Murphy's Multiverse and Screen Rant both say generally the same thing: MK12 is basically gonna be exactly the same as MK11, except with ALL characters playable from MK9, MKX, and MK11 except for Cyber Sub-Zero and Triborg (and licensed guest characters, going for all games, which means no horror characters or MK11 DLC guests). It's gonna run on the same engine as MK11, and all the characters that were already in MK11 are gonna play almost EXACTLY the same, basically down to the moveset. It's said to be a general re-release of MK11 but with MKX and MK9 characters

That would be an interesting episode although I wouldn't say he is the best. Funniest yes, best no. He had some crazy lockdown. Ending combos with landmine then meter burn orbs into orbital strike then meter burn orbital strikes got you like half of a life bar guaranteed as there is nothing you could do. He just needed some type of mobility move so he didn't get destroyed by zoners.
