Dude, two of my 1 year old Thai Orandas started spawning yesterday and I was able to use your hand spawning methods and got sperm & eggs in a bucket setup for possible babies. I'm pretty excited.

@@ALW4YS_TIR3D for sure, I can see the eggs better today in the day light and there's a ton. I just posted a short showing some of the ones you can see. Vixen (who I thought was a female) had Alot of sperm and was the only sperm donor for the batch. I followed all of Luke's steps from his older videos.

Hey Luke just wondering do you only use the sponge filters? Or do you have an actual filter too? Asking bc I don’t see a filter and want to change my tank to only sponge filters if that what you do.

It's just sponge filters and photos plants are also a good natural filter especially like when you want to grow them big(the plants) that is gonna control mostly of the ammonia nitrite and nitrate levels that what was Luke planning to do putting photos above the tank and I guess grow them so he will do less water change or don't need to do a water change

i have a 29 gallon with 2 goldie’s. they are pretty small and surprisingly don’t poop too much. someone released a few goldfish in my local pond and they bred a bunch, now we have 100+ goldfish in this pond. so i caught 5, only one remained. he lives in the tank with a friend.

No. Goldfish like colder water temperatures, and short big open tanks. Glofish and Angelfish like warmer water temperatures, and prefer taller, more densely planted tanks

As a kid, I never knew how bad I treated my goldfish yet they still survived for 5 years. Looking at this channel made me realize how badly I treated my goldfish without even knowing! I feel bad for that. Do you have any tips for keeping a goldfish just as a pet and not as a breeder?

The best surface area to volume ratio for rectangular prisms would be a cube, but if you are using a bowl (for some reason) then a sphere would be best

He's correct that these breeder tanks are BY FAR the best for fancies - especially compact bodied ones like the fish he has in there. Unfortunately, the tanks are way harder to find than standard tanks and often far more expensive. Their footprint also makes finding a stand difficult oftentimes.
