A fantastic Trip to see #TeideNationalPark in Tenerife, Canary Islands.
Join me The KnightStrider as I take a road trip with the Macmaster from Los Cristianos to Teide National Park. See the drive, roads and beauty of the National park before make it to the main station where we ride one of the highest Cable Cars in the world to the top for some amazing views at 3,555 metres high.
You've seen me with The MacMaster, now it's time for The KnightStrider to take you on a Road Trip and Cable Car ride along side him.
If you are taking a holiday in Tenerife then this is a must watch and a must do trip for your excursions list. Only a 1 hour drive from Los Cristianos area.
Wonder what the Weather is like in Tenerife this August and September, then this video should give you an idea and show what the weather is like in the Summer at the top of the Volcano.

Your vlog - I hope you paid for the grub. I've been up the cable car, and to the top. The view is wonderful. On a clear day, we saw Gran Canaria OVER the top of the clouds.

Can I put a little request in for some car/driving tips! I see so many people getting tickets and cars towed away 🤣. Be good to have a little outline of what not to do! Hello Andrew, very nice tour de Teide. Yes, I agree that it's a MUST when on Tenerife. My wife and I have been on the top twice, last time 2019 we could see all the islands except Lanzarote. Another great trip is the lava tunnel, Cueva del Viento and also go to the observatories, very good guides and perfect view of much of Tenerife, besides you can see the sun through a little telescope. Quite amazing. Compliments to you and the MacMaster - you're a great team. Also saw the parasailing today, really funny how Mac reacts, great fun to watch. Thank you guys.

You’re a natural with your vlogs Andrew, I love your presentation .... chatty, a bit of humour, plenty of info and some great shots👍 I can watch both yours and Lees vlogs of the same subject as you both have your own style. Great video thanks Andrew. Done Teide a few times (first in about 1983!) and it's always a great experience. If anyone watching goes to Tenerife and has never been up Teide I would say it's a "must do". One suggestion for the videos is to show a map when you're explaining a route. I think all the places to visit on the Islands have their own special attractions. Can you do one on Santa Cruz sometime or Puerto de la Cruz? I agree with Lee that hiring a car is a great way of exploring the island so would also highly recommend.

Fantastic Strider, absolutely amazing video. I’ve said before very informative, you have a great speaking voice on camera. There is one street you guys have not went near in any vlog: walk past the Best Tenerife towards the Playa Honda/Tigotan over to the Columbus and new Barranco apartments and go down the street towards the Colon II apartments. There are a a lot of bars & restaurants in that area. I work for TUI and that area is very popular for us so would be interested to see what’s open there. We have Best Tenerife, Bitacora, Vulcano, Coral Suites, California, Columbus, Barranco, Piramides and Colon II all in that area which you would walk past going that route. 👍🏻 The live parasailing video pause at 6:13 - Lee’s face is a picture 😂😂😂 Very nice - can’t wait for your next video 💪🏻

Hi KnightStrider, Great Videos for a learner, Looking forward to Videos during the year, Interesting to hear how you started the car hire Video, So maybe a good Video on your Car hire company and what makes you stand out from the rest since a lot of companies are out to rip customers off. Also another video on how you moved from the UK to Tenerife and settling down in Tenerife, Finally, I had my hotel room broken into and we lost the lot, (Passports, Cards and other stuff) Our fault for not hiring a safe and the hotel could not be bothered, But what is crime like now in Tenerife. Must say, I have not been back in 20 years. Watching the videos, Tenerife is totally different, BTW, regards famous people, we met and drank with daniel o'donnell in the dubliners (Hotel Las Palmeras. )

Well presented vlog Andrew,we did the coach trip up Teide about 12/13 years ago and it looks like it's changed a little. It was August and was quite warm at the top but was surprised how the air is so thin up there.👍

Hi, I just watch your video on cable car. I contacted First Exvursions but they no longer do the cable car tickets on their own. Only with a tour. Have enjoyed your other videos as we usually stay Los Abrigos and travel around Tenerife.

Just got around to watching - been dying for a good video on this somewhere for ages. Thanks - appreciate!! Really hoping for an okay on travel to the canaries before October! Our trips we are hoping to do are Teide, Siam, Loro and The Monkey Park. We have a 4 year old so it’s family trips we are looking for. I’d love to do a boat trip but not sure my stomach would handle it 🤢 You’re doing really well with these. I’m enjoying them xx

Enjoyed that’s trip with you thank you. When I went it was so cold and even though we were allowed to walk to the top I couldn’t because it started to make me breathless. I was a smoker in those days though.

this is defo my type of thing to do .Would even walk it .If with certain friends it be Cable car :) Take a sarnie and coffee .water with you if on a budget for refreshment up there. Also say take plenty water small first aid kit always .
