Enjoy Bali. You also could have watched the Uluwatu Kecak Fire Dance near their sunset hill. Very dramatic presentation. For backpackers you can simply hire a motorcycle rider going to tourist places like Uluwatu and make them pick you up back to your hotel. 😉

I huffed and I puffed going up that hill to the gates of heaven and waited in a snaking line inside. The pic the mirror effect photographer took was too far away you hardly could see yourself. Good thing I had pics taken going down the stairs. 🤣🤭 I waited in a hut on top until my tour group came back on the waterfall plunge. 🤣 been to the rice terraces too. Those swings are common in that area. The place we had lunch had one and a huge bat outside. Stairs stairs and more stairs.
