Just downloaded this TR unofficial book. It’s Awesome! I didn’t tip but I bought Marcels Traitor CD. It’s real good and inspirational. (Giving up whiskey) is my favorite. I know, I sound cheap but good picks are 50 bucks now. Not to mention I like expensive capos quality woods hide glued and scalloped braces. Who’s Marcel? He’s a Bluegrass enabler. He’s like the grease inside the bluegrass bearing. Keeps things cool and running smoothly a real slick cat.

Some of these have rewrites upon rewrites. First I wrote by hand on graph paper, after that I used Power Tab because it was free, finally I found Guitar Pro which is what I used for the book.

“Swing 51” by Tony Rice ! Official recording here was by the DGQ in 76! Here’s a rendition I did in 2017, a piano and jazz guitar duet of the tune. Learning this tune from Wyatt Rice; Tony’s brother got me as closer to the composer as I basically could, including voicings and how I played the melody! It's a download, and you can tip whatever you want. The download does come with a version that's made for print. If you want to go to a local printshop and have that done.

@@LessonsWithMarcel I've made GP files from a few of your tabs by manual entry - it's good exercise and helps me internalize the sequence of notes. So I sorta know how big a job this would be. I bet a lot of us would be happy to purchase that collection.

Marcel - you should leave making GP files to the student. There is a lot to gain about music when you transcribe yourself into Guitar Pro.
