Something I noticed about my own preaching to a camera was that I had to become ok with a little bit of silence. At first I felt like I had to be constantly talking and while I don't want lots of gaps and dead air, I realized that I needed to include some of the same pauses and breaks that I would normally do in person.

Spot on. You guys do well at confronting the shortfalls of this topic without ‘blasting’ the pastors trying their best. Eye contact is tough to a camera or phone. I use a teleprompter and have edits. Good challenge to include the hiccups.

This is so true, our Pastor was having a hard time at first, but I think he is getting used to talk to the camera. I have to constantly remind him to look at the camera, specially at the beginning, he tend to look at the notes. Teleprompter are not easy to get used to though. I tried that and end up looking at it instead of the camera so I guess it requires a lot of practice :)
