I love that these companies are doing play sets. Even NECA is doing the sewer play set in different rooms.

If Syndicate can follow through, I will be thrilled. The True Romance lineup is a must have, but not completely sold on Bloodsport - The Chong Li likeness is great, but Frank Dux looks less like JCVD, and more like Alan Ritchson of Jack Reacher fame.

There were so many great toy reveals this year at Comic Con. I thought the golden age of toy collecting was over but I am so glad I was wrong. My top 3 have to be (1) the Robosen auto transforming Grimlock, (2) the Super7 Thundercats Cat's Lair and (3) the Haslab Star Wars Ghost. The fact there were so many other reveals beyond that is just amazing. Although we already knew about it, it was great to see the Haslab GI Joe Dragonfly up close. Again some really amazing stuff. We just needed the Val Kilmer Elvis from "True Romance". Maybe there will be a second wave with him, Dennis Hopper, and the F.B.I guys.

My favorites by far was the NECA ultimate Six Shooter and Jester, Ultimate My Bloody Valentine Miner, Ultimate Chucky TV Series, and Syndicate Collectibles Ghoulies, Pumpkinhead and KlownZilla

So far top wants are Mondo Phantasm, X-men 97 wave and Spider-Man animated series 2 pk.

Super7 was best of show for me with the Cat’s Lair, Chrome Silverhawks Ultimates, massive TMNT party wagon, 3 waves of upcoming Thundercats on display and a new wave of G.I.Joe Ultimates! Next would be the G.I.JOE Classified team who are just crushing it with each reveal and raising the bar for everyone else. After them would be NECA who had a ton of cool stuff on display for various lines especially Gargoyles and TMNT.

Great review. Didn’t you get to see the punk cartoon line turtles in their sunglasses and cool jackets? I see you didn’t mention them. Those look awesome as well. I hope you got to see them. I'm the exact opposite when it came to Hasbro and Mezco. Couldn't care less about Hasbro's displays. Mind you, 90s Marvel TV series was a big part of my childhood. I'm just not a big fan of their figures. Mezco on the other Hand, surprised me with how good their display and reveals were. One 12 and 5pts TMNT, 5 pts BTAS, Nightwing, Dick Tracy, the Mask, The fantastic 4, Dr Doom, the Power Rangers, Space Cadet Gomez. They had a whole lot more to offer. We can agree on Neca TMNT. That company never miss .

So very pleased with the look of Peter Parker in the figure reveal. That polo shirt from the cartoon is so dated, colors are too 90’s. The clothes he’s wearing on the figure is something that looks good in the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, 00’s, 20’s..well, it’s basically what I wear so I like it! 👍🏼

My favorite reveals stuff was the defender of the universe voltron, the mcfartlane battyman 6 pack and the marvel legends 97' wolverine 😂❤ still hascrap marvel legends has to upgrade their engineering. All marvel legends should be like the MCU moon knight.

batman TAS used to be on Saturday ITV channel at around 9.30 then on the BBC at 10.30 ish ? spiderman TAS plus ITV had other awesome shows like gargoyles and darkwing duck stuff like that . how lucky were we back in the 80,s 90,s to early 2000,s ? unlike today where young boys cant watch anything rougher more violent than SpongeBob !

Syndicate is very hit and miss on the face sculpts, especially if they have a premium price, but some of those look nice. Sad that they went with mohawk Storm for X-Men 97 and no alternate head sculpt. that made it a no-buy for me as my wife loves Storm but hates that look.

I think NECA made the Dinosaurs figures for me. Only because everybody always says in the comments who asked for these? I would have, the only reason I didn't was because I didn't think anybody would ever make them.

Space as an issue? Yes. God lord, I can finally afford most everything, but run out of places to hang shelves. It's no longer a collection, it's an illness.

It's your list so obviously very subjective, but to me it's odd that you started with the most expensive item versus the most ostentatious. Anyway all of my best in show items were GI Joe classified related. The Chrome silverhawks was nice to see and I'm glad those are coming but pretty much everything else was a ho-hum for me this year.

The Peter Parker coming with thwipping hands but not webshooters is a bit of a let down. He didn't have organic webbing in the show
