I wish this was available in Australia - currently a bz4z monthly lease over 3 years (over here) is AU$1817 per month! ie approx US $1212 per month. Not sure why there's such a big difference. (this is for the 2WD version),

Ok got my car, thank you so much for all your tips and explaining a lease. Never leased before and was hesitant. I got an xle bz4x, $217 for 36 months, $5200 up front. This is in southern ca. another dealer had offered me $189 monthly but I had already put in deposit and I wanted a certain color so went with the higher payment. The free charging for a year and getting this car at the end for a total of $31k. Not bad for an electric suv and my family only drives Toyotas. Thanks so much

I checked this deal today, and the taxes you pay in California for xle trim is about $3500, and on top of that, you need to include license, registration etc. They do not have any xle available, and on limited trim, the lease comes to be about $460

if you actually call around and drop in to the dealers, they have cars being shipped before July 1. They will want a deposit though to reserve the car. I placed $1000 deposit, $5200 will be due at signing. I was quoted anywhere between $189 to $210 a month, depending on add ons.

So we just got one on Drivematch.com - it’s a limited trim. Price is pre-negotiated $3500 in total drive offs with a monthly payment of $392 - here’s the link drivematch.com/vehicle/3382/

the dealerships don't want to offer the Toyota deal because it is manufacturer's deal. They did the same to me but I pushed them and they caved and agreed to honor the deal

If interested in the deal, try and deal with fleet or drop in but with your research done on the deal. The dealerships tried to quote me the much higher lease deal until I pushed them and said I wanted the Toyota lease deal. A couple of dealers caved and offered the deal but I had to place a deposit as they did not have the exact color I wanted. A few dealerships in southern California do have BZ4X's shipping from Japan (all are made in Japan!), that should be at the dealership before 7/1/24. A lot of the cars are reserved so they do want a deposit. My dealer told me the deposit is refundable (check with each dealer as policies may vary on refunds) should I change my mind or the car arrives after 7/1 and Toyota decides NOT to extend the lease offer.

So if you pay 293 x 36 months = 10k + 19.5k buyout you would end up paying 29.5k? Versus the MSRP of 46k? How can this be? What am I missing here

I just got a Ev6 offer today from the dealer for 3,848.00 down and $322.67 a month for 24 months 10k miles. MSRP IS $47,705

Toyota is offering crazy lease deals on bZ4X models, this is what happens when you purposely make a bad EV trying to prove the hybrid point, one wonders if Toyota has f___d themselves on future Toyota EV models, the bZ name should go away, and the bZ4X should relaunch as a RAV4 EV when the new-gen RAV4 launches, just saying, it needs better charging speed and a higher EV range, think low 300s or high 200s range

your calculation with taxes and 0 down came to $293/month, but why does the offer on your website show $392/month plus $3000 due at signing? I thought the $2999 cost was already rolled into the $293 monthly payment.

The $3500 that’s due at signing on Drive Match includes first months payment, registration, dealers fees, etc. You won’t pay a penny over $3500. Mean while the Toyota website offer is $2999 due at signing, but after registration and taxes on rebates you can easily add another $2,000 on top of that $2,999. Hope that makes sense!
