i've seen a tab dedicated for the offroad metrics monitoring. for example it had a sub-page showing the transmission oil temperature, engine oil temp/pressure, coolant temp, stuff like that. and another sub-page showed the current status of the drive-train (transfer case locked, diffs locked/unlocked etc). granted, that particular sub-page is more relevant for the factory Rubicon. but i wonder if the 8.4" Uconnect still has that tab pre-programmed so that it can work with aftermarket airlockers for example. so, i'm just wondering if that tab is available on all models of the 8.4" infotainment system, or if it is only programmed on the infotainment systems dedicated for Rubicons only. thanks

I see the Wi-Fi hotspot in the app tab. does this mean you can tether it off your phone for KZfaq? No cable plugged in and wireless?

I just started to have problems with U connect. I lost lot of options in setting , safety, seats , doors and other options related to program cars future and my temperature control stop showing numbers just LO and HI . Any idea how to get back options in setting ? Did they need to be turned on somewhere ???

I came here to figure out how to switch to another HD Channel within FM radio, but it wasn't mentioned. It shows 1.2.3.4 etc, but I haven't found a way to switch to 2 etc.

How often are there updates? I have a 2020 Ram 1500 Classic and the map appears to be from 2019. When I check the uconnect site it always says my maps are up to date. 🙄

I like to have navigation on without listening to the radio, can you turn the radio off and still have navigation on, or do you simply have to turn the radio volume down to silent?

We had this in a 2017 Cherokee Trailhawk and currently have it in my 2022 Charger Scatpack. We traded the Trailhawk for a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Liimited with Uconnect5. The Uconnect5 was one big PITA! After owning that Grand L for only 6 months, we traded it back in for another Cherokee Trailhawk with Uconnect4. Avoild the Uconnect5 if you can!

U connect always tells me I have OLD TEXT MESSAGES…? These old text messages are deleted from my phone , but remain in U Connect. HOW DO WE DELETE THESE OLD TEXT MESSAGES FROM U CONNECT…. Thanks

Does the 8.4 UConnect have Apple CarPlay or Android Auto? I never saw those options in the video. I have those features on my 7 inch display.

Anyone else having problems with your apple carplay constantly disconnecting? I have a 2021 rubicon with 1000 miles and it’s been an issue since day one. Using an authentic apple cable, software is also up to date. Wicked annoying

MUSIC IS TOO LOUD TO LISTEN TO THE CONTENT. Did you know what there is a lot of hard of hearing people and people who have tinnitus who have a difficult time hearing what is being said with background noise? And these same people drive vehicles and would like to know how to use UConnect?
