This resort has the most personality I’ve ever seen. While Disney is currently gutting theming from their resorts Universal is definitely rocking the themes.

I lived most of my life thinking the phrase “last ditch effort” was “last stitch effort.” In my defense, people say it so fast that the st in last runs over into ditch, making it sound like stitch. And I never questioned it because I figured “last stitch effort” was related to the phrase “hanging on by a thread” so it meant that it was a last stitch effort before it broke 😆 ngl I kinda prefer my version and explanation. 😅

Molly and Alan resort tour adventures are such a delight to watch. I love Cabana Bay so much. The amenities and dining you get for a value resort is mindblowing.

I’m just gonna say that I stayed at Cabana Bay and Animal Kingdom Lodge both on my recent trip. And although I enjoyed the animals and general theming, CB felt like that idealized resort vacation experience that I grew up hearing about in the 80s/90s

Now this is what value resort should be. Disney needs to learn from Universal.

Great review! We were there the first few weeks of December and we really enjoyed Cabana Bay. We were in a family suite for the 5 of us. The bus rides to the parks were so quick and easy. I don't think we had to wait more than a minute or two for a bus the entire time we were there and we went to the parks 9 days of our trip. We were at the Swan Reserve in May of this year for our Disney trip and the kids far preferred Cabana Bay and Universal. There were characters at Cabana Bay, there was a free balloon animal artist most evenings, the pools were warm and wonderful, and the staff was amazing. For us, we booked through Costco and got a great deal for the family suite and 2 park tickets.

This is really nostalgic for me because this time last year I was just two weeks away from my visit! I did a split stay with four nights at Cabana Bay and six nights at All Star Music. I've stayed in the deluxe resorts at Universal, which I love, but you just can't beat the value of Cabana Bay for all that you get with it. I walked to the parks each day and it took me two minutes to get from my room to the Cabana Bay entrance to Volcano Bay - I was the first guest in the park! Also, it was my birthday during my stay and my boyfriend sent flowers to the resort which were carefully looked after by Bell Services while I was in the parks that day ❤.

Gotta love a Molly and Alan vid - you two are too funny together. I stayed at Cabana Bay for a girl's trip a few years ago - we loved everything about it, and have said multiple times we'd absolutely stay there again.

We stayed at Cabana Bay in 2021. It was my first Universal Experience having been a Disney person my entire life. Loved the resort. My husband has celiac and was nervous about dining but they killed it. He hate and never got sick. We really enjoyed the resort and didn't even explore all of it. Loved being steps from Volcano Bay. Excellent video because now I know what to look for next time.

We were here the week before and completely blown away. I love this hotel for the value, offerings, and theming. The only downside is there's no hotel-park water taxi hotel and it's a bit of a far walk on the garden path, but the shuttle is constantly running and we never had to wait. Thank you for bringing back all the great memories and adding your own hilarious personalities. ❤️ watching Molly & Allen have so much fun with each other!

My dad loved the huge TVs and the dining room cuz he grew up during that era so that was some nice nostalgia for him. The fries are some of THE BEST EVER! Perfect for a hot day coming into the hotel and you didn’t drink enough water! I even put extra salt on them which I NEVER DO TO ANY FRIES EVER! I think we mainly stuck to sandwiches there and I think we even got pizza one time? My parents are a big fan of getting what you need at the grocery store that you want to eat so you don’t spend quite as much money on food cuz it is expensive compared to the groceries but more money for merch that way! <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="1825">30:25</a> We didn’t do the bowling but we did take a tour around the top floor one day. The only thing I don’t understand is why you would want to work out BEFORE OR EVEN AFTER walking around the park all day! I got my years worth of walking in just a day cuz we walked around so much! My dad loves malts! This DEFINITELY wasn’t there when we were there! I don’t remember what in that place actually but I don’t think it was this cool! I do like my smoothies and they have some good options! We don’t drink drink but we did see the Swizzle Lounge when we were checking in! The malt shop is going on the list for a future visit to check out! Don’t know when we’ll be able to go but it’s on the ever growing list of new things to do since watching this channel! I COMPLETELY AGREE 100%! Cabana Bay Beach Resort is the GREATEST HOTEL EVER IN UNIVERSAL! And that malt shop makes the smoothies TO ORDER IN FRONT OF YOU! I’m in heaven sign me up! I love fresh made smoothies and fresh food! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a smoothie shop ANYWHERE we’ve been! That just makes the whole place even better! And yes I agree that having to go to a real person job while you’re on vacation is lame. Especially a meeting! Yuck! Stuck in a stuffy boardroom all day when you could be having so much more fun!

My daughter, who is 18, does not enjoy Disney content anymore HOWEVER, she really enjoys Mammoth and I'm thrilled! Molly and Alan are so entertaining and fun! We are currently trying to figure out Alans career....top 3 - Lawyer bc he communicates/articulates so well, Medical field like an RN or medical rep who teaches doctors how to use equipment OR a therapist. ( hope you guys get a laugh ) Also, your editor knocks it out of the park.

I recently stayed in a family suite at Cabana Bay with my Husband and daughter and we all LOVED IT!! We also loved Pop Century, but all enjoyed Cabana Bay even more. Amazing hotel with tons to do, great staff and great food. 1000000% recommend!!!!

I can vouch for the excellent service when you text the front desk. One of our kids was sick in the middle of the night, and they were incredibly gracious and helpful in getting some supplies up to our room.

this video warms my heart!! I have stayed at CB many times for my december theme parks visits! I love the retro christmas decor and such an amazing value. and I agree, this is by far my favorite value resort in orlando. and the walk to volcano bay is a huge PLUS!

We stayed at Cabana Bay back when it first opened in 2014 and have stayed about 10 times since. We just love this resort and the Florida resident discount makes it an amazing value. We are Disney die hards as well, but for the money Cabana Bay has it all. The theming is fun for the whole family and there are so many activities. Plus all five of us have been able to to comfortably stay in one room when booking a suite. Can’t say enough good things.

I'm always excited to see you post a new video. Cabana Bay Beach Resort is one of our favorites. We love the aesthetics, location, rooms and food. Universal hotels are way more affordable than Disney World resort hotels.

My bf and I recently stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Beautiful scenery and all but when we came home from the park, nothing was open. No food, no water. So strange. No where to get a cup of coffee in the morning. Just reminded me how great and convenient Cabana Bay was. So nice to be able to get food after the park or a Starbucks in the morning when I’m cranky! And cheap too. Great video Molly & Alan!

I stayed at Sapphire Falls last time I was in Orlando and loved it. The water taxi to the parks is an amazing perk. Cabana Bay looks absolutely amazing for a prime value resort! I am definitely impressed.
