Depends what you value cooling or aesthetics, Rgb or no rgb, spce in your case, ease of install, etc.

You're comparing a $20 2-heat pipe 92mm cooler vs a $30 4-heat pipe 120mm cooler... i'm not sure we're in the same category here.

Not sure if Deep Cool is available in your area but here in SEA, the Deep Cool Gammaxx 400 already dethroned the 212 up to the U12S years ago for just $20~$25

@@AMDeZani I have no idea... I think you missed my point, you're focusing on PRICE, i'm focusing on cooling... I'd have to see a head-to-head between the two to make any judgement, because once again, you're championing a 2-heat pipe 92mm cooling fan vs a 4-heat pipe 120mm cooling fan.. i'm not sure that's a fair fight... if they cool equally, then yes, $20 vs $30 would be the defining point, but if the 212 cools better than the 7X, then there's a reason for the price difference... you get what you pay for.

Yea, just very specific setup in my case. This is really an awesome board. Anyway, I just read some forums & reddit. It won't work with the newer Bios for zen 2. You need zen plus and the old bios before zen 2 to make it work.

Looking at the pictures on Amazon, it looks like a definite "NO" on replacing the fan... looks like the fan has a built-in custom connector to the heatsink... also, it's a 92mm fan... even if you could replace the fan, most good user fans are 120mm and bigger... the 92mm market for fans is pretty pathetic. If you really want a custom fan on a good tower heatsink, you might look elsewhere, like a CM 212 cooler.

Arctic sells replacement fans for specifically this cooler on there website, it cannot fit anything else.
