I buy my perfumes off Dapper now I bought Hufflepuff Bianca latte escapades Gourmand and vanilla dream they are absolutely gorgeous a lot less money last longer on the skin I get compliments all the time the silage is actually wonderful

My favorite vanilla is Van Cleef and Arpels Bois Dore! It’s a beast! I NEVER get compliments. I’m a PreK teacher so there’s lots of other smells to contend with! 😂 I was walking down the hall and got 2 compliments even after recess! This is a darker vanilla than Bianco Latte. A must try!

A huge yes to Unknown Pleasures! It's in my top 10 for sure. I do have trouble with Ani I'm sad to say. I bought a full bottle and each time I wear it, I get overwhelmed. It's on the chopping block. Vanillas I tend to love overall. Tihota is a favorite as well as SDV.

Such a great list. I am not really a gourmand person, but Bianco Latte is delicious. I just love it. I got a sample of Argos pour femme. I definitely will need a full bottle of that beauty. I totally agree about Ani, I definitely don’t get a masculine vibe at all. I have WAY too many vanillas to mention, but I’ll add Absolute Aphrodisiac, Silky Woods, Vanilla Royale Sugared Patchouli and Angelique Noire to the list

Aroma M’s Geisha Vanila Hinoki is such a beautiful fragrance I never hear anyone talking about. It is not a gourmand but very vanilla forward with that Hinoki wood that smells like cypress or cedar. Airy and so good. On my second bottle. Layers so well with all kinds of things.

Girl, I LOVE Ani!! I've been wearing it with Trader Joes Pumpkin Body Butter and OMG, what a combo!! I love SDV too but it just has no performance on me 😢. Hi ! For the word "spiritueuse" after " t " it goes " iouze " . I prefer Angélique Noire over Spiritueuse Double Vanille. I tested BDK Velvet Tonka for about a year ( all seasons + all type of weather during each season, luckily I can find their perfume close to my home ) . I love it but for about 30-40 min before all this almond/ amber creamy perfume fades away to became a boring patchouli/ vanille scent ( I hate my skin chemistry 😠) . Right now I'm loving Café Chantant from Nobile 1942 and Precious Forest from Keiko Mecheri . Greetings from Paris

Hufflepuff - I layer it with EOS Vanilla Cashmere or B&BW Wrapped in Vanilla. I have to literally spray 12 or more to have at least four hours of performance. I will always get a compliment but it’s a disappointment so it’s now my 10 year-olds signature scent 😆 She used it once and she fell in love with it!! She gets compliments all the time so it may as well go to her ❤

Velvet Tonka is maybe my favorite fragrance. It is so good. And funny thing was when i first tried it - I didn't get it. But it was the 4 or 5th time that I was testing it that I finally "got" it and I was hooked! I couldn't get it out of my head. And now I have the full-size bottle and I just adore it. If I had a signature scent this would probably be it though.

You must try Maison Tahite’s vanilla collection. Vanextasy is my new favorite vanilla and I have a ton of vanilla fragrances. I absolutely love it and can’t stop wearing it. The projection is quite good and it will last on your clothes until you wash them. 💝 Vanillade is right up there with that one. Beautiful vanilla and projects and lasts pretty close to beast mode. I have all of their samples but I haven’t been able to get past the vanilla ones because they’re all so, so good. Please try them if you don’t have them already.

Escapade Gourmand has been on my wish list since it came out.... in a very different direction, so has Inside Out by the Gate (aromatic- touch of absinthe-ice cream) as well as Iris Malikhan (earthy vanilla- do NOT pay attention to the notes- its Iris and Vanilla)...

My favorite vanilla might be Maison Tahite Vanexstasy, and I rarely hear people talk about it. It's creamy, rich, woody, and sweet, but not too sweet. The performance could definitely be better though.

Maybe you want to consider Madera by Omnia, and Vanille Havane by Les Indemodables. One that I find absolutely stunning is EBK's Ruby n Vanilla Intense. It's a mature, dark and sensual vanille.

you are lucky that unknown pleasures pulls caramel on you. i get alot of lemon and tea spice i wish it was sweeter on me but it is nice the dry down i get a fluffy vanilla. I own bianco latte its so amazing and has wonderful performance. i need to smell velvet tonka again. i want to also try argos fragrances too. i want to try hufflepuff but i blind bought minnie mouse full price and hated it smells so synthetic and only lasts 30 minute so i just dont know because i cant get hufflepuff unless someone buys it and ships it to me Nishane Ani is masculine to me too but i will try it again in the fall. I also have SDV from Guerlain i need to wear it more. i also get plastic smell from sol de janiero sprays i need to check out accident ala vanille

My question is about the note Davana which I was sure you said you did not like but it is in Amouage Sunshine and you did not mention it there several videos ago. I was able to order a nice sample of it from Maxaroma last night( BOGO on their samples) and am looking forward to receiving it. Can you tell me what other fragrance you have and like with the note of Davana? Seems like it was a recent review but I cannot remember which it was....sorry. I also am releasing to a new home my 98% full bottle of Electimus Mercurial Cashmere. I must be the Oud note that is throwing this off for me and I know you had liked it in the beginning of your fragrance journey and since have changed your mind on it as I have. Oud must be my problem for looking back, there have been at least two other Ouds of variying strengths that I have passed along and the new Ormande Jayne Arabesque has Oud too. I do have a 8ml sample of that and it is nice but probably not full bottle worthy for me. Sooooo....thanks, Jackie for your time and thoughts. Looking forward to hearing back from you. :)

I guess the most 'phonetic english' way to put it would be: spirit'you'uzz doobluh vah'neey (type this in google translate and press the "speak" option hahah... or feel free to do that w the french spelling too 😜). Hope this helps? Lovely review either way! My fave vanilla is Ysl Baby Cat for a spicy incensy one and I rly want to pick up Ex Idolo Love & Crime (think Lira but spicier), but the holy grail is and remains: Indult Tihota. So so deliciously simple and good. Dupeable with Victoria's Secret Bare Vanilla, too! :)
