Chicago is my birth town. To me Chicago pizza was the best pizza in north America out side of homemade like Chris's crust recipe. My gang used to spend a lot of time driving from food place to food place. The food there was better than anywhere in the states, that I have been to. I haven't been to NYC. It would be cool if some genius did a vegan version of the food touring we did.

Years ago, I met my brother in NYC. He took me to a restaurant that served vegan food, along with the standard fare. I had the vegan duck. It was perfect! Crispy skin, fat layer under that, juicy “meat”. I had to ask the waiter if it was really vegan, it was that good.

Did the cheese taste like real cheese or like vegan cheese?? I’m vegan and I haven’t found a vegan cheese that is as good as the real one😩

Apparently there is a UK company that does a good job, giving that jaw tingle that a good cheddar can have. They aren't all vegan cheeses but have a vegan line. Cathedral Cheese, I believe it is called.

I would say this one tasted like very good vegan cheese, it's close enough for me though because I haven't had dairy in over 10 years lol
