Contractors is still super active with a bunch of mods being made all the time. The Battlefront mod has progression and skins you unlock

Contractors is a godsend to multiplayer FPSvr games ATM. So much content being added by modders. Showdown is looking to be WarzoneVR. Can't wait for that release as well.

I feel like Contractor is much better than this. I guess that’s because it had more time to be better. Can’t wait for Contractor showdown. Hopefully it’s just build on top of contractor to be better

We need a game like this to serve as an example. Too many devs are focused on making a good vr fps but neglect the fact that, for many VR players, the novelty of "good gunplay" and the basic features already wore off ages ago. So if that is the factor that is meant to sell copies, it's unfortunately liable to be the devs first and last vr game, unless they are swallowed by the Meta monopoly machine.

Tell that to many players that still play onward 5 years straight. Motion controllers that is actually decent is already a huge step better in fps even though the mechanic and features isn't as much as AAA shooter.

ive been playing vail since the alpha and it is soooooo good I wish i could play more but not many Australians play so finding lobbies is kinda iffy but its so worth it I hope it keeps growing and reaches the heights of the other major vr shooters, i also feel like the playerbase is less toxic in general compared to other games also the artstyle is based on brutalist architecture which is why the maps are so drab

Brutalism doesn't have to mean drab... mirror's edge has lots of brutalist architecture and I wouldn't describe that game's art style as "drab".

Yes for money, no big influencers covering this overrated boring game on will, check out GoT, Contractors, Breachers, and even half dead Pavlov, there's content EVERYDAY

@@GodOfMetal66666 Base Contractors is dead in the water and I don't enjoy it. To play Breachers well, you have to play very slow and I find it boring. I played it competitively but lost interest. Pavlov has no future imo, so I'm not going to invest time in it.

But I'd love to see more analyses like this. The short bits at the beginning of this video were really interesting. You didn't have to rush those and you could elaborate further. :)

the only thing I don't like about Vail is the lack of a weapon angle modifier, which makes it quite hard to switch from a game like Breachers that does

dude i have looked for the past 20 days, ive used meta quest help, my quest 2 is bootlooping FOR THE PAST 20 DAYS ive factory reset it more than i can count i do not have the warrenty no more, if anyone has any kind of fix to this problem im all open to ideas i would very much appreciate any idea.

Vail was on pc for a few years before this and was slowly dying. However they got a new update that added a ton of new stuff, so player numbers went up right before it released on quest. I dont really think its going away this soon now.

I recommend checking out contractors showdown, their battle royals game with the same physics and engine, and ghosts of tabor, an Escape from Tarkov clone and a great extraction looter shooter.

Hell yeah, I can't really grind my skillset in games that well without progression system I mean having to work for unlocks hoans your skills for those specific weapons (and leveling to game itselfself) So it keeps motivated to play the game while you're still trash at it untill you're good enough to actually have fun!

The best game progressions came from call of duty 4 call of duty modern warfare 2 call of duty modern warfare 3 and call of duty world at war. With each one of those games you had to get 25 kills with a gun before you could get a red dot and then like 50 kills before you could get a hologram and then a certain amount of kills before you could get a ACOG And then you can get a heartbeat sensor FMj rounds extended mags and so on and so on but that was the same for every gun which made for better and more consistent progression system
