Patagonia Swiftcurrent Expedition Zip Front Wader is tough enough to take on the strongest currents all while keeping you comfortable. They feature a durable H2No performance standard to offer waterproof protection. You will have freedom of movement with the new baseball style design. Height adjustment can be done with ease along with padded straps to allow all-day comfort. There are plenty of pockets to carry your small items and built-in handwarmer pockets with pocket flaps. Remain dry and comfortable while fishing sporting the Swiftcurrent Expedition Zip front wader.
Features:
Durable H2No® Performance Standard recycled polyester microfiber shell with waterproof/breathable barrier and a DWR (durable water repellent) finish
Single-seam construction for durability and gusseted crotch for freedom of movement and comfort
Submersible YKK® front zipper is fully waterproof; fully adjustable, quick-release suspender system; top-hem drawcord cinch system; Secure Stretch, no-snag wading belt; front and rear belt loops
Interior organization: waterproof flip-out pocket; two drop-in stretch pockets; two internal daisy chains for tools; center-back hanger loop for easy drying
Exterior organization: two handwarmer pockets with pocket flaps
Articulated legs; removable foam kneepads; heavy-duty scuff guards at ankles
Anatomical left and right booties have lower volume and a more sock-like fit for all-day wading comfort

I have been a Simms customer since they started making waders and have had excellent wear out of them . I’m not a high use guide days fisherman but do get out 100+ days a year. Just purchased these waders and can’t wait to try them . The reason I switched was I like what Patagonia is doing to help the environment and what’s happening at the company. The fit at least for me was perfect and the adjustability is great . Now to see how they hold up . Thanks for sharing

@@jeremydoan4099 I’ve put over 30 days on them this season and they have worked as advertised. Haven’t found anything I don’t like about them . I’d never had a pair of waders with the front zipper and really didn’t think it would be that big a deal , it’s a game changer. Not only from the stand point of being able to go pee when it’s raining and not have to take clothes off but from just the ease of putting them on and taking them off . My one concern was breathability I had read some forums that thought they didn’t breath as well as the Simms , I have not found that to be true . If your in the market of purchasing a new pair of waders I would definitely recommend you at least go try some on . In my mind the true test will be how are they doing at the end of the season . Go fish 🎣

@@cooshington5975 They work great put 114 days on them no issues and I’m not easy on equipment. I really like the zipper front and waterproof interior pocket . Going to get my wife a pair this year .

Bought my Pair from Farlows 3 years ago , Great Waders by far thou heard yesterday 4/5/2024 from Farlow Returns that Patagonia don't repair waders ,??? What ?? - after advising me in the first place to send them back via their returns for repair by Patagonia. Having spent North of £700 quid, and waiting 3 weeks only to be told that Patagonia dont have a UK repair sorry is this my problem , I do hope someone from Patagonia can help me here as i feel totally let down by these two UK retailers with their communications, despite having spent on a pair of temp waders to keep me going while i wait.

Any issues with durability? I’m about 6’0 230 lbs, and I just wanna make sure I’d be buying something that I’m not gonna bust the seams by overstretching on accident (stepping over fallen trees, coming up a bank, etc)

@@flyfisher64 I use the Patagonia and have had excellent success with its performance and durability but… Comparing the Simms G4Z Waders - Stockingfoot and the Patagoina Men's Swiftcurrent Expedition Zip-Front Waders is like comparing stock cars. Although I don’t think the Simms is worth the Extra $, they are both at the TOP of their respective brands. Can’t go wrong with either.

I hit all the checkmarks for a SSS except for the boot size, do you think if i'm a size 9 i could make this work or should i size up?

hey guys I been looking into these waders lately and just wondering if I were to buy these waders with foot that is size 8, would I also buy a size 8 or size up to a size 9 to fit the river salt danner boots?

Hi Steezy! It is a pricey wader, but a lifetime warranty is priceless. Patagonia ethically produces everything so you are getting a top of the line product with very minimal harm to the planet. Plus, they build things so you don't have to replace them. It is built in 5 layers, completely seam sealed and stitched for durability. If you have any problem with the product, you can send it in to Patagonia and they will repair or replace it for free, all you have to cover is shipping. @@Simonfnp Hi Simon thanks for watching our video! The warranty covers manufacturers' defects (seams, zippers, stitched on anything). Wear and tear such as holes put in while sliding down rocks and going thru the briar are not covered. HOWEVER, for a nominal charge, they will fully repair wear and tear issues. We hope this helps!
