I need to try some of these gels! I tried the Rizos but it made my hair feel gritty and somehow straightened it out.

My absolute favorite is the Curlsmith flexi jelly by itself. My second go to styler is the NYM mousse with a gel. I might use the NYM curl talk gel or the Ouidad Advanced Climate Control Heat and Humidity Strong Hold. I just bought the Rizos Curls Beach Waves Texturizing Salt Spray. I am hoping it helps for second and third day hair.

How do you use the JVN air dry cream/how much do you use? Sometimes I love my results with it, and sometimes I feel like it's not that great. I don't know why my results vary so much. Maybe I'm lazy with my application methods or using too much/too little.

My list is so different. Recoil is one of my all time favourites but I have different textures from yourself. My bottle doesn’t smell like you have described. Maybe you had a bad bottle. You do use less then most creams.
