This family raises two iguanas at home... yes I know there are various types of pets.. but they eat and sleep with iguanas and even kiss them, too!
Anyway, the mother didn't like iguanas at first, but after one incident, she became very affectionate with iguanas.

도마뱀 등 파충류도 클수록 지능이 좋다하더라구요 이구아나도 어느정도 교감이 되는거 같더라구요 강아지 같은 애교는 아니지만 여러 영상이나 반려인분들 블로그 글 등 보면 반려인을 구분하고 교감하더군요

Im betting it was thanks to the heated floors in Korean households that kept these iguanas alive in the harsh winters... People that have them as pets here have them sleeping in giant glass enclosures with lamps for warmth... But she's obviously taken care of them well enough since they're 7yo, they could even still be alive today 😊

The Iguanas are very cute and very loved for sure however I don't think it's wise to take them to the market places. I think such places only service dogs trained to help the disabled should only be so, but that's my personal opinion.
