I have been asked a lot about the jump pack I carry and Mrs. Monkey suggested I do a "do over" on all of the charging stuff I use to keep the "fleet" ready to roll at any moment. I only use Noco stuff to charge up my bikes, maintain my batteries and hands down they make the best jump pack. I never leave home without it. Here is all the stuff of theirs I have bought, how I use it, and where to get it. (I got all of mine off their Amazon web store.) The links are below:
Noco: Jump Pack 1250 Amp ($125): amzn.to/3TdL9B7
Noco Jump Pack Case ($18): amzn.to/3rNHuOL
Noco Adapter Connector for Jump pack and charger to Battery ($33): amzn.to/3SVNNeZ
Noco 10 foot extension for Smart Charger ($30): amzn.to/3TiAxB3
Noco Smart Charger (Normally $125, on sale for $75): amzn.to/3yyCYra

I jumped on the NOCO bandwagon after the last video you did.. Just ordered the GBX75 (2500A) boost box for my Ram Diesel. Got the GBX45 for the bike and my Jeep. Everything has the NOCO battery leads for easy connections, because when it's 30 BELOW up here in the Little Siberia, NY, AIN'T NOBODY got time for THAT SHIT!! Also got the Genius 10 Charger and have recovered THREE deep cycle batteries that I was going to TRASH!! Awesome products and I'm currently awaiting delivery of the battery for my scoot!!!

If you purchase the Noco gbx 45 make sure you also buy at least a 65w usb type c wall adapter and a usb c to usb c cable so you can charge the GBX 45. They also make the cigarette lighter adapter as well for it but not as quick to recharge. Anker makes a good quality that’s compact and not as expensive as the noco version.

@@ProfessionalMonkey Actually, follow up on this. I'm going to get everything you mentioned and replace my battery tender setup (that came with HD). Not sure what I'll come across for my 16 FXDL, but I'd imagine I could, simply put, route it and zip tie it like the previous tender was configured? (sorry if this sounds stupid, I just want it to look clean, fit inside the battery cover, and not flapping around or on hot components because those wires look a lot thicker)

In the marketing material for the harness they even have a picture of an ATV, so you're definitely on the right track. But again, nothing magical about it, it's just surprising that not more manufacturers make this harness, and that Harley doesn't sell it when it's compatible with their jumpbox (which is just a rebranded Noco).

I've been riding mine with a dead battery for a year.if it's not on the compression stroke it still has enough power to spin a half a revolution and fire up,if it's in the compression stroke it won't do anything but click so I turn off the key, put it in 3rd or 4th, roll it backwards and let off the clutch to spin it off the compression stroke then keep the clutch in, turn on the key,hit the button and it's spins enough to start and go.I figure I can get an extra couple years out of a battery using this technique, like I said, it's been a year like this and still going strong.gen 3 klr by the way.

I looked into these products as well, -- the only issue I had was the size of the plug/wiring-makes it hard to use with such devices as a "Air-tire pump" that utilizes the "standard version plug. I am sure an adapter can be made up as well. Thanks for the info.

*sometimes * if your battery is too dead for Battery Tender to start charging, you can hook a good battery in parallel to trick the tender into starting, and disconnect it once it gets passed the "analyzing" step. In a pinch.

Hey Monkey, love your channel man. I went out and purchased three of the chargers/maintainers you recommended and one of the jump packs. I tired purchasing the 18.5 inch connectors, the GBC007s, but they are currently out of stock everywhere I look. Once I got the chargers/maintainers, I noticed that you can disconnect the the clamps off the cable so you can use the rings to permanently install them for charging. My question, is do I really need the 18.5 connector or can I jump the batteries if necessary by just connecting the jump starter to those cables? I can’t seem to find that addressed anywhere in the instruction manuals. Thanks, Greg

Storage time here in NH... Some may say (and the wife says it all the time) a bit premature... but work schedule right now .. (Its our busy season) dictated I put the bikes up. Ya.. Bikes.. ( I now have 2) are in the Storage Shed (offsite) but the batteries are here in the warm confines of my abode. (no garage for this blue collar New Hampsherite... yet).. I bought a "Battery Tender" (2 bank--- 2 batteries) to maintain my still alive enclosed energy storage units but that jump starter set up might be something to consider once the (not yet... but to soon to come) snow .. (UGGGGG! I said it!) melts away and we can resume 2 wheel debauchery.. (in 2023) Ride Safe!! Behav....... naaaa ENJOY Life!! GO FOR IT!

Glad I did it now before hitting the road for a 9 day road trip. I would hate to have to do that with the seat off on the side of a hwy. The UL wasn't too bad to connect up, compared to the sportglide! I had to pull the battery out, just to be able to get my fingers on the screw down connectors. Anyways, thank you for recommending these products, and they are now on both our bikes, and I have the jump pack in the saddle bag!
