Thanks for this informative review encouraging us to learn Hebrew with Dobson's book. I studied Greek for three decades, but it was not till I worked through Dobson's Learn NT Greek that I started becoming truly fluent in reading the language.

Question: I bought this book used at Baker’s used store in Grand Rapids and didn’t know it was supposed to have a CD in the back, which is missing. Am I dead on arrival without the CD or can I still get Hebrew with just the book? Thanks!

@@JOLLYROGE007 I’m sure the Priests and Scribes were afraid of the wrath of God and this small thing called stoning if they weren’t faithful to the copying of the scriptures. Also, they were fanatical with the way they copied the texts.

Audio dialogs …!I still can read and understand Spanish since 1972! The teachers today are horrible they try to present all tenses and complex grammatical structures at once. They are trying to impress not teach. Pride Destroys everything!!!!!!

NAR is pretty wacky. Why learn Hebrew for that?

Wow, I bought this book a few years ago and I found it to be absolutely useless. I found the way that the information is structured and organized is sloppy and all over the place, and it doesn’t teach much grammar. Different strokes for different folks I guess. I had far more success with free online resources.

This is just introducing resoures so if you want to learn to read Bibical Hebrew there is no need to view this video. Wasting time. Sad ....
