My best raid story was the accidental one. Late at night and I’ve just died. Freshie gal spawns on the shore by the Svetlojarsk docks. I run into one of the large warehouses and found something (don’t recall what) but I was tired and daunted by the late hour and having to go through another life. I logged out. Didn’t get to play that survivor again for weeks. Finally logged back in and the poor girl wakes up literally inside a massive Minecraft inspired wooden castle that is the length of most of those docks and as wide as the rails to the water in the bay. Just so OP and ridiculously huge. The old graphics card took too many minutes to render. But there I was, trapped inside a fortress filled with loot and vehicles and everything my poor freshie soul desired, hmm, except a well full of water.

Code-raiding is the best because, not only do you get free loot, you also get a free base.

I've found quite a few times with the 4-dial combo locks that people use their birth year as the code quite a lot. So I usually start at 1980 and work up. Doesn't always work but definitely worth trying as I've cracked them a lot doing this!

My base had outside doors locked with a lockpick, then 3 separate close locks. Landmines and trip wires all around INSIDE. Walls has barbed wire on them too and the 3 walls and adjoining passages were all metal. I made easy spots of people to scale off into areas of wood but they were all mined and tripped wired. I lost it on a server refresh, and it was BIG with two MS3, 3 cars, barrels and tents on an unmodded server and only 1 helper.

Prone and shoot the frame only and the panel and frame will break for half the cost for ammo raiding

My tip for bases is check the base first. I’ve broken into our own base because I noticed a wall we had built a fence on had a lip, letting me eco raid via a small roof. Check the base you are going to raid for these oversights.

Another way is if you know someone is in the base, wait for them to come out and kill them as they are coming out. The door is wide open then lol

You are forgetting one very important thing, which is improvised spear crafting. The most effective way to use 1 bone or one stone is to create a knive, use it till badly damaged and combine it with long stick to create a spear and use it till ruined. With one dead player or one item that craft stones (sledge hammer or wrench) You can create a lot od spears

4 dial combo lock is closer to 2.5 hrs to fully go through

We've watchtower raided a few spots. Including the chernarus prison, I'd give a foot to see the people's reaction when they log in, realise their goodies are gone and there's a tower outside their building 😂😂😂

On a server I am currently on I keep getting in over the front gate. The best thing is that the Truck keeps giving me the door needed to get over the wall. 😂 so I pay a visit every few days and get what I need. I kinda feel bad for the dude but at the same time if you can't learn to secure your base then free gear.

They should definitely make it harder to raid a base. 35minutes of sledge hammer is way too easy to get access to hours of loot storage.

additional tip: putting 2 plastic explosives inside an IED is the most effective for raiding regarding the explosive methods.

I learned to not use 3 dial on my first door bec someone code raided my front door and replaced with a 4 dial

This is why I have around 30 purple locked metal gates & barbed wire where possible to protect my few barrels of tier 3 diamonds 👀👍♥️😂😂😂 on that note in the morning I'll have a few more too 👍😎🤪🤣

Best raid experience was also my last on that server haha got banned because the admins had it out for us and went around their own rules. Was a five man base at the apartments above severograd. Only two were online and we had 8 guys with 4 cars. Our code breaker was fast af and we were in and out with EVERYTHING in 15 minutes. I got both kills, the first being a kill while on overwatch at a lil over 400 meter and the second being after we got in and found the second guy hiding. I was the only one banned (at least right then) because I was the only one they could prove was there because of the kills. Good times 😂

Does gas grenades or m79 gas rounds do damage to walls or gates?

QUESTION - I built a door in exactly the same barn structure shown with metal facing, at the 2 min mark here... It cant be unlocked from inside...no interaction shows up. SO, has this happened to anyone else? Absolute pain in the neck, this problem.

once i coderaided someone whos code was 911... the owner were online and saw the whole thing fortunately he didnt had a gun and i was able to negotiate him. i asked why is his code is 911 and he said, he can dial the number fast if he doesnt remember...

My Main question, what Type of Server is this? Dont loose Amo and stuff, or is It your own can Someone explain me how to cerate a private Server and how to not loose ammo etc? I play on pc

I think walls should be buffed it is too easy to raid bases in 1.19 (official servers) It's always worth the time to raid and it is not balanced considering the time what the other spent to find a decent loot

I think that's for Modded Servers, But Lets say I wanna P{lay regular Dayz , How do I get into a Server that has a good amount of people in it. Love this game but just don't quite understand the server thing. Tried to join but it doesn't allow me in the servers I've tried ,So That's Why I Play Modded on the DZSALauncher. Me and a friend toppled a base at Tisy that was set up on one of the ramps. It took us 3 trips but we just went into tisy grabbed anything explosive and just shot them from a distance. We took what we could and destroyed what remained. By server restart it you couldn't even tell a base was there

I used a plastic explosive on a metal frame. And it did absolutely nothing. I went back to check the damage and it was still green. The door was in a building. But I didn’t understand why no damage happened. Confused...

Raided someone with 3 dial locks for the first time by cycling it. Pretty fun since it doesn’t take very long. I took what I wanted and locked it back up for them

why is .357 doing so much damage to walls, while it is doing way less damage to players than all of the rifle ammo types?
