We started our time in Lake Como out by renting a boat to cruise around the lake on our own time. We used Bellagio boat rental, and if you’re able to get a rental boat, I HIGHLY recommend it! If not, a boat tour around Lake Como would also be worth it. Getting onto the water is something you must do in Lake Como. We sailed around to many stops including Nesso bridge, Villa del Balbianello, and Pescado bay.

Such a cool and relaxing way to see around the lake! It’s still so crazy that you guys travelled so quickly to a different country and how vastly different the countries are while being so close-ish.

So true! I didn't film in Lugano, which I feel like is the perfect combo of Appenzell/Como, but this is only a few hours from where the last video was and it's so different!

Love your video. Heading to Italy for the 3rd time in September. We have not been to Northern Italy, and will be spending 10 days. Lake Como is definitely on our list. Love that you shared the map of where you traveled through was very helpful. Will watch your Switzerland video as will be in Switzerland, Lucerne and Zürich for two days.

Nesso looks stunning. Well honestly the whole place is beautiful The boat looks like a really relaxing way to explore and see the lake side sights. Yum Gelato. What a beautiful view from your air B&B I wan to go to Lake Como now xx

Great video. We are staying in Varenna in April. Do you feel that 3 hours on the boat was too much or just right?

Thank you! I felt like it was just the right amount of time. If we had someone driving for us i think we could've gone longer, but if you drive your own boat 3 hours is perfect

New to your channel and I’m so enjoying your content. We are leaving for Italy this week and can’t wait ! But I do have a question about your drone, I’m a drone operator as well but have been unable to register in Italy, can you give me any advice on how you went about it ?

Thanks so much! You can’t get the SPID without being a resident, so we would just approach any security nearby and show them our drone license and then ask permission essentially

Couple questions.?. Were there no boat rentals in meggarino? Plus. Did you have any problems flying drone in Italy? Did you drive into Lake Como or rent a car there? We always come in by train!

I’m not sure where there were other rentals, this is just the first one that popped up! We had no problems flying in Italy, just stay out of restricted zones like usual. We rented a car in Zurich actually, and drove over the Swiss border since this was also a Switzerland trip!
