Susan, wondered how i could utilize my CORDED/BRAIDED leather with ease and your ILLUSION method of stringing pearls to leather is EXCELLENT . so attractive outcome, really. i'm finicky about professional and meticulous appearances of things [like an artice of clothing 'innards,' meaning the under seams shouldn't be crooked or have strings hanging etc]. i really love this bracelet and appreciate you as JTV hostess takes the time to teach us HOW. this video had perfect audio and your explaining steps in detail ALONG w/ added cautions and tips on BEST method for best result is EXTREMELY helpful. and the MACRAME BOARD? GENIUS! thank u, Susan.

I've made many of these wrapped bracelets, but I like to watch different artists at work to learn some easier way to create them. You've shown me a couple of great tips here. Thank you, I would also add that you can take a sharpie pen or colored nail enamel and color the ends of the cord, which will make it immensely easier to string the pearls.

What a fabulous project! I've talked myself out of purchasing supplemax in the past because I had no idea what to do with it but I think jewel school has talked me into it with this beautiful bracelet project.

Can you do this with 1.5 mm leather? Or 3mm suede?
@JewelSchool
@JewelSchool Жыл бұрын
yes to the 1.5mm leather. Just needs to be a round leather. The 3mm suede looks to be square, but thin enough. Give it a try!

Is the illusion cord stretchy?
@JewelSchool
@JewelSchool 2 жыл бұрын
Monofilament cord is soft and flexible but not stretchy. It's much like the consistency of fishing line. It is made out of Nylon.

How do you get rid of the smell of the board! I know, weird question, but mine smells like a strong perfume
@JewelSchool
@JewelSchool 2 жыл бұрын
Bummer! We hate to hear this. Sometimes when products are made from foam they can give off an odor when they are brand new. It could be just as simple as letting it air out in your garage or out on a nice day. Most customers have said the smell subsides within a few days. It's a great product, so we hope you will continue to use it! Thanks for watching!
