Well. Not perfectly well rounded. He has very strong defensive power, map wide influence much like cypher or astra, and bonuses to overall economic efficiency. But he is weak when pushing solo, reliant on winning duels without advantage (though he can use his teleport to avoid a failure or success being capitalised on). No active distuption (killjoy nades, sage slow field), no cover (unlike cypher's cages or sage's wall), and no teammate affecting utility (ie nothing in his kit benefits teammates. Cypher can give cover through cages or give allies wallhacks on a single target via his darts. Sage can heal allies HP. Killjoy... uh. Killjoy has the same problem, lets move on). If you want to see a well rounded character, a true generalist, take a look at Omen. Smokes? Check but not the strongest. Map wide impact? Eh, mostly but with limitations. Initation? He can blind enemies but its range is limited and they can see you if you get close though they are deaf which can be quite nice for getting knife kills. Mobility? Teleport, but short range and reliant on geometry. His ult lets you collect intel, or go for a cheeky flank, or regroup near instantly, etc. Omen is a true Generalist. He can do just about everything but is far from the strongest in any one catagory.

@@theoreminegaming Hmmm yea I get what you mean with that he doesnt have much supporting utility while pushing but I kinda disagree that he cant take duels well cause if you're confident with your aim and you're hitting good shots being able to teleport out of a fight whether hitting or whiffing your shots seems like the perfect duelist tool. Ig all he misses from a "dueslist" kit is some flashes for initiation as you said even omen had. But he still seems quite all rounded cause even on attack he can still hold the flank (sentinal role), go for an aggressive pick and tp out (duelist), hold an angle lets say holding CT spawn with this op the whole time which if hes hitting his shots could even be better than just smoking that angle off (controller) and yes i agree nothing much to really initiate or entry (other than maybe some aggressive alarm bots to get little info but yea thats not too helpful). But yea he does seem a lot more like a solo type agent rather than one that fully depends on team play or is mainly supportive type like Astra. Also what you said about omen does make a lot of sense ig the only thing you missed from him is that hes super fun to use :)) Anyways thanks for sharing your opinion... either way im hyped to use chamber and I haven't yet cause I havent been able to play much val recently so I still havent unlocked him XD

Honestly oping sentinels are OP tho, when i use kj I usually lock down a site with my utility and hold a flank with the OP, while my team can bunch up at the other site

@@keonkla hmmm not really i replaced jett with chamber so i can fill the sentinel role while playing aggressive, ur not throwing unless u dont place chamber’s tp to easily go back to safety, trust me it’s not all hype the agent is op af (just my opinion but i respect yours as well)

same i recently switched from being a sage main to a chamber main, and i love it so much i feel more free playing chamber and i've improved so much, as opposed to being restricted by my team mates when i would play sage

Probably only gonna increase the charge time bcs he is a Sentinel not duelist so kills wouldnt make sense

you can already see his anchors and have a visual cue (he turns yellow) when he can tp. they might nerf the cooldown though

i think his next nerf would be his op being changed to where it cant one shot to legs anymore

I think pros would have him fill a duelist slot instead of a sentinel slot, so you'd still have a kj/cypher. he seems REALLY strong as a duelist, and double-op (jett + chamber) comps would be fairly popular imo. can't wait to see him in the vct tho, he seems to rock the entire meta

The double duelist meta is long gone in pro play, so I think that chamber will be a bridge between the sentinel and duelist role. Taking for instance Astra, Sova, Skye, Sage, Jett, which is the meta for ascent, switching the sova or skye (preferably sova) for chamber would probably be the direction pro teams take it. You might also see a complete rework of the agent select meta to accomodate the double op, maybe even using a breach or kay/o to help with more flashes. I could even see a world where pro teams only run the chamber as their sentinel, seeing that he does have the two traps to watch two choke points, while the rest of his utility is really his own technical skill. I think it would be fascinating for players like Nitro and Dapr to start playing Chamber, considering how their mechanical skill would gel so well with Chamber's kit.

@@beegest_yoshi Yeah, but not really on attack side. He has to set up a TP in order to take first contact, which isn't as viable on attack. Jett has dash and smokes to entry with. Chamber has nothing like that. His TP is more limited in that regard

He's been nerfed in spike rush, headhunter only gives you 4 bullets now

The agents broken the C (Trap) should have range having the ability to hard rotate with one shot guns and still have util on other site shouldn't be allowed because as long as chamber knows where you are, your basically dead. His Q ( Pistol ) is 100 creds for a one shot head shot in any range (Note: All pistols and even the phantom cant one shot headshot) atleast make each bullet more expensive (Personal Experience: I ran chamber pistol only and I still got 32 and I could drop guns to my team and buy guns for them too). The E ( Teleport ) is way too quick I like it how it requires you to be close to your first anchor and be in range of the anchors for you to teleport but its WAYYYYY to quick, even quicker than yoru if a SENTINEL have better escape utility than an actual DUELIST, it doesn't really make sense. The X ( Sniper ) you have quicker scope speed and movement speed than an op but with the same one shot body shot as an op and its also free, combo that with your E ( Teleport ) you basically have a free OP thats quicker and your unpunishable because of your teleport. And before yall say low elo opinion or sum im immo 2 rn and peak radiant with 200rr
