I stayed at the tower in 2021 and we loved it! The rooms are big and comfortable with a great theme! Sage mentioned the three bridges restaurant and I was going to say what a hidden gem that place is! We went for lunch and the food was the best meal of my trip! I would be more than happy to stay here again! I love a more relaxing, chill vibe! ALSO, the coffee shop/cafe downstairs from the main lobby (Barcelona Longe) has AMAZING Spanish coffee!

I love this resort, both the tower and the original section…my whole family loves it! We drive so the buses don’t effect us, although we do take it to disney springs. The size didn’t bother us at all. Best building besides the tower is casitas building 5… great location.

If Coronado Springs had a DVC section, I would buy a contract in a heartbeat

We are staying here next month for a girls trip to celebrate my mom's retirement. I am using touring plans to request a room in a perfect location.

Love this hotel! Stayed in Casistas 4 in June/July this year and it was amazing!

Although one has to travel by bus, Coronado Springs - like the All Star Resorts - are the closest hotels to Animal Kingdom Park.

We stayed at Coronado Springs in June 2022 for a week and really enjoyed it. We stayed in the tower rooms and thought the resort had incredibly beautiful design, lots of good dining options, great amenities, large comfortable rooms, and was convenient to AK, EP, & HS parks. It is quite a long distance to MK & Disney Springs though. We plan to stay there again when we return.

Love Coronado. It’s our go to hotel when we travel as a couple.

Staying at Coronado in February. My partner and I like the more "adult" themed resorts. And honestly, you just need to factor the extra bus time into your schedule and its fine.

Negative: The lack of transportation (they have only had buses) but Positive: The smell when you walk in (I bought a spray from a company that sells Disney smells), staying at the Tower is beautiful, great walking and the room we had was roomy, clean to the point I took a picture of the bed tag and the pillows. We stayed there to attend Sangria University at Three Bridges.

I’ve stayed at Coronado twice now, and I totally agree about the size (our first stay was in the Ranchero area Blvd 7 in the wayyyyyy back) but the second time we stayed we were in the preferred area and it made a huge difference. The grounds are stunning, lots of places to sit and relax, great pool and bar area, awesome restaurants, and the Tower’s decor takes my breath away. I would highly recommend but understand the bus loop is a reality and be prepared to walk depending on where you are located on property. It may not be an issue!! ❤ Coronado!!!!

My favorite thing about this resort is that it has a fitness center, i think it’s INSANE that Disney hotels don’t have them unless you’re paying deluxe prices !

CS is my favorite moderate resort. I haven't stayed in the Tower and probably never will. Frankly because I can get Swan/Dolphin for just about the same price as the Tower and walk to two parks. However, I have stayed in Cabanas and Casitas a few times and really loved it. I agree about 3 Bridges, I had probably one of the best meals I've ever had on site and maybe top 2 as far as service goes. My only cons with 3 Bridges were - I was there in December and it was cold at night, the entire restaurant is open air and while they do have some fire pits, I wasn't sat at one so I shivered through a lot of my meal. My second con is it a bar when all is said and done, and while I love a good bar, I don't love some of the people who also love a good bar.

Staying here in January are there rooms in the tower one might suggest that you might be able to see some fireworks in the distance?

Yup. The tower is a very different experience than the rest of the resort.

With the Coronado's location on WDW property, it would be a great spot to add a Skyliner stop to link it to Hollywood, Epcot, and Animal Kingdom. Or, less likely to happen, dig some new rivers/canals to link some of the bodies of water around the Coronado and Epcot/HS/AK and add a boat connection to any of the 3 parks. Ideally, adding at least 1 boat route and Skyliner connections, or even better add more monorail stops. Yes, any of this would be a very expensive endeavor, but the multi-billion dollar corporation can afford to invest in their infrastructure. If anything, the Gran Destino Tower should be labelled as an official Deluxe resort, and the surrounding Coronado rooms should be the ones that are the Moderate resort. Ok, one more option that would be pretty convenient, but at a sizeable cost to the company. Pedestrian trails that go directly to the 3 parks. Like straight trail, covered bridges over the roads, no curves or anything, like literally as strait of a line as possible, if necessary adding a 2nd gate location at HS and AK similar to the International Gateway at Epcot. All 3 parks are about a 3 mile walk if you take the current roads, but if you have a direct shot (or as close as possible to a straight, direct shot) they are all only about a mile away.

Since the resort is so far away, the posted bus schedules are not accurate. Ended up taking Lyft a couple times. ($10 one way to park)
