This might be a hot take but I like staying in the village for a long time in Twillight Princess it really shows how much Link's status quo is changed and helps to make the place feel like his home. I also felt connected to all the residents and it's such a cozy place.

To the Russian writer girl who plagiarized OoT: I bet she meant well. I think she just decided one day to translate the game into book form, but her neighbors, who had never heard of Zelda before, convinced her at a young age to publish the story. I adapted most of Majora's Mask into a short story for an elementary school assignment once, but... Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. The publishers should've known what they were getting into. And if she wasn't really 10 when it was published, she did too.

I love Arlo. I don't even remember the original video he was in, so this was a fun surprise for me even if I probably remember it somewhere in the back of my brain head. I maintain that a Tingle horror game would have been amazing. I've played the English translations of the Tingle games and honestly, they're only kinda middle of the road. An unexpected horror theme could go a long way as long as it were more Silent Hill and less Luigi's Mansion (I love Luigi's Mansion but it's Saturday Morning Cartoon horror, not real horror). I had a real negative reaction to Tingle when I was 12 and I saw him the first time but I unironically love him now. He's a fucking loser and I adore that. It's also why I love Waluigi. Plus he kicks SO much ass in Hyrule Warriors, how could you not love him?

My girlfriend is super obsessed with Genshin Impact. She loves the game, I know it has been a few years since this video was made, but Genshin has taken its own path separate from BOTW.

I don’t think the localizations are necessarily at odds with the final Ganon transformation. Reincarnation and revival can be considered the same thing in the context. In both versions he is ostensibly done with the cycle of dying and coming back as another ganon. Giving up on reincarnation could mean giving up on the lengthy cycle of dying by the hero, coming back to life and failing again. Obsessive refusal to give up on revival: ganon has split himself into 5 initial forms and then finally turns to this final form. That certainly demonstrates he’s obsessed with succeeding with this particular instance of revival. He is more desperate than ever to succeed and revived himself into multiple pieces in order to do so.

There's something strangely lovely about the floating signs. Essentially maybe a handful of players will have noticed that and been like "huh, that's neat". All for those few players they put in that work. Those are the kinds of things that make Nintendo games Nintendo games, that level of polish is just impressive, if not a little wasteful of development time.

I purchased Tingle's rosy rupeeland when it came out and the haggling mechanic drove me nuts. I actually recommend using a strategy guide when playing it, just so the guesswork can be removed. Without all the guessing, there's actually a really enjoyable game underneath.
