I agree that God will not impose a spouse on you, but I believe that if ASK Him to align you with someone who He approves of, and who He knows you will equally yoked, I believe that He will do that for you. He loves us and wants the best for us, so,if we have had flawed selection skills in the past, and seek God for help and confirmation, I think that's a good way to go.

I disagree on the age gap. It should not be too big but more than 10 years isn't bad. Women tend to prefer 'older' men and as long as you are taking care of yourself there's no reason you cannot still grow old together. I've seen 15 - 20 year age gaps (with the women being in their 30's) that worked out quite well. I think it really depends on your stage of life, especially if it's a second marriage after a divorce maybe. My step-dad was 11 years older than my mom and it didn't seem like it at all. Sadly, he passed away from brain cancer at 69, but the age gap was not a factor in that.

Thank you very much for making this video. I wish my youth leaders talked about this when I was a teenager. Perhaps you can encourage other pastors and church leaders to do this. I am 44 years old and have been single for so long and have never had a date. It's hard, but now I know from your video that there is nothing wrong with me and I have tips on what I can do while I wait until I hopefully meet a man in the not too distant future with whom I can spend the rest of my life. Ever since God brought Ps. Vlad video on the homepage, I’ve watched every single one of his videos since that day, the past 6-7 months. Now subscribed to Lana as well. I’m 38, practicing Christian and single, ready to mingle. I’m moving to a different location to position myself where the well isn’t dry (like Portland where I currently am). Waiting for God to direct my steps (Proverbs 16:9), praying for double discernment of where that is! 🙏🏽
