Amy has stated early on that she can’t read the room when she overstays her welcome. I think she said her gynaecologist as one example.

The ending of season seven is the beginning of Sheldon's real growth, he starts to be hit with a lot of situations that forces him to mature as you will see moving forward.🙂

I feel you. These characters draw a lot of empathy and engagement from me, so it's really jarring how much of mean streak the writers have. Leonard's mother being a terror is at least a consistent element, but the go-to joke whenever anything bad happens always being a lack of sympathy from the other main characters is grating, a show like this with actual engaging characters would seem to be above that, but I guess sometimes the writers don't know what they have.

I could see the laugh track bothering you in that scene where the Comic Book store was burnt down lol. This show has a habit of having the laugh track interfere with serious moments

Will be curious to see how you react to future seasons because for many people (I don’t necessarily agree) season 7 was the ‘last great season’ of big bang theory. It’s fun to rewatch the series with you! Thanks for weekly entertainment

it is not many people - there are a few trolls on you tube who always have to attack the show - all of the seasons are great - that is why it lasted 12 seasons

I like your explorations and examination of issues brought up and events in the show. I don’t believe you don’t like the show too. If other people don’t appreciate it maybe THEY should consider watching something else 😆 That’s a simple thing I do and anyone can do.

"Business Amazon is worse". Not to Sheldon. Sheldon I think would enjoy living in an authoritarian environment, as long as he agreed with its rules. He likes the structure and predictability - look at how he manages the Roommate Agreement and any disagreements with anyone else. Plus he has been on the brink of being a supervillain multiple times for his revenge schemes... Sheldon siding with business Amazon tracks.

Sheldon leaving was one of the most evolved moments in character development history. In the past, whenever certain things don't go as he expected, he usually goes back home to Texas with his mother and start from scratch. But him taking the high road was risky but it was something he needed to explore and experience the real world💯. He came out his friends in the beginning of the episode and none of them took him serious about it. Which causes him to have dreams that bridges things that he's a fan of subconsciously, and vent to himself spiritually to figure out how to grow on his own🔥. Definitely can't wait until you see season 8 because it's only going to get more deeper👏🏾👏🏾

Sure, however, when parents are emotionally/psychologically abusive or neglectful, as Leonard's mother is portrayed, they usually have been throughout their child(ren)s live(s) (unless the parent has an aquired brain injury or has developed an addiction or long term health need or summit later on) So, like with other forms of abuse, the child(ren) often still hold onto a hope that one day, maybe for one second, some measure of approval/validation/interest/concern/consideration, ya know... love... might crop up. Its great if this isn't something you've experienced, however, for some of us no matter how well adjusted and capable we are there are still some occasions where your parents' utter disregard for you as a human shocks ya, at all ages.

@@firstsurname7099 sometimes it goes the other way around. Complete disregard leads to not expecting anyone's approval. Which is for the best, because at the end of the day, your life is yours and you shouldn't live it by the measures of success and decency that anyone else but yourself has
