It's scary up close because even regularly we're seeing him on screen. Up close we see his emotionally flat face, stereotypical of most autistic people. Faces so devoid of emotion have a tendency to scare people because they look robotic.

@Dorre Notyalc The creators of the show have confirmed that he's not autistic, and many times in the show, Sheldon confims that he has no mental disabilities because "his mother had him tested." Sorry, but just because he seems autistic due to his behavior, doesn't mean he is.

It has in some hospitals. We have them at Hopkins. We used to them 'C.O.W' (Computer On Wheels). But a woman got angry and thought it was addressed to her. Now we call them 'W.O.W' (Workstations On Wheels).

Thank God for the BBT,by far the best show during their run,one of the best comedy sitcoms of all-time,l basically gave up on comedy sitcoms after the 70's,thanks to Sheldon,Amy, Leonard,Howard,Ray, Penny,and the crew,and that cute tiny, Bernadette .

I want a mobile virtual presence device. With some upgrades though. 4 cameras (facing front, back, left, and right), ability to tilt those cameras up and down, an arm, bigger wheels for easier travel and better stability, more powerful engine, and a basket. Im sure a larger battery could still fit as well.
