Brilliant video as ever Phil, very informative. They were some brilliant weight gains, both daily and overall. Also very interesting seeing how the Speckled Parks did. I've seen plenty of them for sale as calves but never any bigger than that. However, the undoubted highlight of the video was seeing Uncle Ian out and about. A great man and an inspiration to you all I'm sure.

What about putting a metal bar across in front of the drinker, far enough away from the drinker so it can’t get its arse near the drinker but not for away as to not reach the drinker. Maybe 2-3 feet away.

How u farmer phil.by God but ye are on the money there.fine weight coming in off grass.would u not let a few of the heaviest go in 5 or 6 weeks time.they are making good money at the moment.spare the feed for the lighter ones again.lord god but bro must be heard in the next parish with all the roaring when loading the cattle.see when father phil put up the finger and said don't let them get out till I get back he froze.brillant video.u should have got bro to give u a hair cut when he was trimming the tails.id say he would be a good barber.so good to see uncle Ian out for a stroll.hope his keeping well.

Question when you put up Yorkshire boarding on sections the place hinges on fasten then on to building the when it to warm may be lifted to let heat on then lowed down other times

You have to add 5% kg's to get the real life weight from an empty weight Bull. Loaded a Truck Red Holsteins this morning. 380 days on TMR with Life weight of 730kg's. Nice Time for feeding Beef cattle.
