We were so delighted to have been asked to take part in 'The Big Deal' this year which was filmed in the 3 Arena in Dublin. Here is our audition where we were absoloutley blown away with the reaction of the judges. We worked so hard on this piece, and it was amazing to finally get to put so much of our work from lockdown onto a stage. For so long, we have wanted to showcase what we can do as 'The Gardiner Brothers' on a stage and in front of a live audience and we got to do that tonight! We have really really missed the stage and we enjoyed every second of being up there together. We cannot wait to get back up there again! We were very humbled to have recieved 5 votes to go through to the semi final!
We better start working on new choreography for the next round!

As an Irish Dancer myself, I can say that their choreography is absolutely amazing. It's smooth, exciting, unique... and that it is done to modern music really changes it up. It can be relatively easy to work with traditional music but a lot of modern music is harder. Good jobs guys.

I've never heard of this show before: looks intriguing. And of course the Gardiner brothers are fabulous. I didn't know they are American, and I didn't know that they were NOT twins. Three years apart -- amazing!

Same, but I like how we now know that the Gardiner Brothers are both Irish AND American national treasures!!! 🇮🇪+🇺🇲🏆🏆👏 As well as also being ABSOLUTE FIRE when performing!!! 💚🔥💜 Moreso, I SUPER appreciate being able to tell them apart now, as I just rediscovered them last night (UGH to severe insomnia, though I have been UTTERLY DELIGHTED to binge the Gardiner Brothers' shorts all night due to that same insomnia... and more, as my KZfaq feed now thinks I ONLY want to see t. 🤣 Thank you, weird KZfaq algorithm. 🙃

I ran into these guys on "shorts". I was instantly hooked on how good these guys are. So smooth and they make it look so easy when it's so hard. I'm a really bad dancer myself and I'm so jealous of this in a good way. Pure class

I love the affection they show each other at the end of nearly every dance. Their love of one another is obvious. God bless their parents. People like that should have dozens of children. God has blessed them all.

Brilliant choices by the production team: have the music so loud you can't hear the percussive sounds from their dancing; and, put them in black pants against a primarily black background so that you can't see their movements clearly. Just brilliant.

Some may say it's nitpicking, but he has a point. Yes, they are superb at tapping but you can't hear all the taps. If they slowed it down a bit and tapped across the stage with a bit of interpretation you have the next Kelly and Astaire.

Flatley glided across the stage with a variety of steps, otherwise it appears to be the same routine to different pieces of music.

You guys are fantastic.. and you are about to blow up with success! If I had to give you one note as a lifelong dancer myself, it would be...your bottom half is 100% in sync, your top half (especially arms) could be more in sync together, then your performance would be even better.
