The BIG Flounder are HERE! Gigging In The Bayou

October is one of the BEST months for flounder gigging in Alabama and your chances at sticking a monster are very high. As you'll see in this video, every flounder we got this night was over 17 inches and we let several more go! The night started slow but finally found some better water clarity and it was ON! You're killing me slowly Brandon.... flounder (stuffed) may be my favorite seafood meal. We caught 3 small non keepers Saturday in Gulf Shores on rod and reel. I reckon I need to go giggin..... keep it up Captain!!

I would agree with you on that! Or second best a good 14-15 in fried whole. Nice! Atleast y’all caught some, I just don’t have the patience to flounder fish on a regular basis. A lot easier stabbing them 😅

I’ve never done that before it looks like fun. It just looks too easy though what kind of challenge is that. It looks like the hardest part is just spotting them. But I do want to do this one time in my life.
