I'm 13 and visited pleasure beach on a school trip... This roller coaster was my first EVER roller coaster and i have to say... IT WAS THE MOST ADRENALINE PUMPING EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE!! 10/10 would ride again

I remember my first time on it, I kept refusing to go on. After I got off I was buzzing! This ride conquered my fear of big rides and roller coasters! :D

I remember queueing for infusion and this thing would scare the shit out of me every time it went by

Just a quick tip: If ur scared of heights/the drop close ur eyes on the chairlift at the beginning so u won’t think about it as much. I went on it for the first time today and I promise it really isn’t as bad as it looks. The first drop is the hardest and the ride is a bit shaky but after while it become enjoyable.

God I remember going on this at about 5 year old with Mt dad back in 2002 or something :-) good old days. I was such a dare devil. Me and my dad went on EVERYTHING together. I LOVED big rides as a kid.

Most intimidating ride I've been on and trust me I love rollercoasters, amazing ride, wanted to sit at the front but ended up 2nd row down from the front, amazing thrill id definitely give this a go. But omfg how did you not grab onto the bar???

I hate roller coasters, but I absolutely loved this one!😂It’s not for people who are afraid of heights, but for me the height it what makes this ride amazing! And the speed as well! It didn’t drop my stomach at all (which I absolutely HATE btw😂) so that’s why I loved it so much. Deffo recommend 10/10

For anyone who’s going to try this ride, do it twice. The first time go at the front so you have the best views, and then the second time go at the back. I don’t know why but it feels so much faster, it’s like the weight of the cars I front pull it down the drops. Also, at the back there is basically no stalling at the top, you just go.

Me and my family went on for the first time so we sat in the two rows at the front and oh my god, I absolutely hated it. Just shows that I’m the wus of the family, I have to watch while the rest of my family go on it every time we go 🤣

I love being on the front. As you approach the drop all you can see is what's at the bottom untill you turn the inward curve.

I have ridden this ride so many times and always with arms in the air. I am now just a carer for a stroke husband so will never ride this ever again. So sad.

Omg I was only 9 when I went on this. You have no straps over your shoulders, just a strap and a bar over your waist. It's so scary cause you think that you will fall out. Love it

So I'm going to Pleasure Beach next month, I've been before but I was way to scared to go on the Big One, since then I've been on a lot of the rides there, and rides at Disneyland Paris like the Tower of Terror, and Big Thunder Mountain, if I've conquered those, will I be able to conquer this, and is it overall a scary ride? I'm so happy that a park in the uk is taking care of this beautiful American coaster. If it was located in the US and needed new track they would have just torn it down. I bet this will be the last arrow hyper left standing with the new track they installed. It will be a miserable day when cedar point decides to kill magnum. Such a fantastic ride and my favorite ride in the entire park.

i went to Blackpool yesterday and I’ve been on the Pepsi max at leat 5 time’s and I was on w my friend Evie and every time we go on we’re still scared when you go up before the drop 😌😌✨✨

What kind of ride restraints are there because im a daredevil when it comes to rides but whenever theres an incident i get over worry about safety like that so what kind is it like a thin metal bar or like a proper lap restraint

I went on this ride i don't recommend it on a windy day. when I went on this ride I bruised my elbow badly after going down if u are someone who doesn't like heights this is not the ride for you I almost shat myself

Used to go on this multiple times as a teenager. Always remember going on at night and the view of the illuminations was amazing, however this was 22 or 23 years ago. Recently went to the pleasure beach with the young ones but no one would come on it with me lol.

Awesome ride. Still probably is the best ride of the park.

It is a really great experience. First drop even if you open your eyes you won't be able to see much. but the view from the top is the best view you will ever see in blackpool. Experience is best.

Superb Rollercoaster 🎢 been on it umpteen times. And I absolutely luv it. I’m not afraid of that high Rollercoaster ride. I’am Meta knight on that ride. (That means I the Bravest on the ride in my words) (Like That superb Nintendo Kirby character) I’ve no fear @ all. :)

Wow kudos for not gripping on to it there! I couldn't have done that. 😂 It goes so high up in that when we went up on it once in 2011 (really clear day) I could actually see Liverpool and the Lake District in the far distance from the top of it. Madness, yet so, so fun went on it like 5 times that day, makes for an absolutely awesome day out!! Thanks for sharing :)

Best ride there! Went on it twice with my friends, first time in the middle and second at the back! If your going to pleasure beach and going on Pepsi max go at the back! It makes the first drop so much more Fun!

Went to pleasure beach once before as part of a Variety Club trip, the trip I believe took place back in either 2007 or 2008. Since then however iv never visited pleasure beach.
