MSNBC has some fantastic, articulate and well spoken staff to draw from and her influence is probably part of why this team is so good. Did ANDREA MITCHELL have a stroke? I don't watch her often, but I've noticed she really seems to be struggling to get words out. People SAID she didn't have a stroke, and apparently she's had breast cancer treatment but her speech is not normal.

I tend to agree. She's very intelligent and has a solid reputation as a journalist, but she's very hard to listen to. She's not nearly as articulate as she used to be. Time to work behind the scenes, maybe?

When you listen to Lawrence, the reason why his speech is clear, concise, and cogent is because he is a writer who has mastered English language. His choice of words and phrases (diction) is perfect.
