I was one of those musicians there on the Wembley turf. The thing i remember the most was the sound when we were all on the pitch together.. wow ..awesome the sound of 1000 professional musicians .. the sound was incredable and moving. we would stop playing just to listen ! With the demise of the Military Bands this event of magnitude will never occur again. Will never forget the experience !

The name of the tune is "When Irish Eyes are Smiling", used in partnership with the melody 'Lough Erin Shore' to form 'Bobs Own' for the 2022 Queen's Birthday Parade.
