Do you charge for recheck (patient complaint) office visits secondary to them buying crappy mail order glasses ?

We do no charge RX checks within 45 days of the patients comprehensive eye exam

Hello! I found your channel after being interested in optometry, but have been worried with the integration of AI and if all this new technology would be a detriment to the growth of the field of optometry. Also, are there any telehealth job opportunities for optometrists?

The impact of AI on optometry is still TBD. However, there are a number of teleoptometry jobs in what projects to be a growing sector of optometry for years to come.

Optometry has significant growth potential for those willing to put in the work. The best way to scale as a business owner optometrist is to add more exam lanes to your current office and/or add more office locations.

@@RyanReflects I mean in terms of personal growth. Like I see MDs working for CNN or going into government. There are fellowships and there are opportunities to either work with patients or to move to a more management position. For ODs is it the same?

Real challenge? Helping your children go from 20/50, to 20/20. I did it, why not help your children do it? It is indeed long term.
