There's a reason why smaller breeds are usually nastier - a jack russell snapping can result in a sore hand and small wound, a hulk snapping could result in a head being decapitated.

Blâack Rôses I've had a few bad experiences in the past and now have amazing lab/pit mix but I take it your young , you'll not forget him instill rember lieing in the bed a old s-10 in the country looking at stars with a border collie / German Shepard mut I had when i was 10 and he's never been forgot animals have a way of forever imprinting on us so for thoes who act a bitch to theirs as well will never forget them much less one loved as a family member sorry for ur loss kid keep up the head and rember none our dogs want us sad ever did he 😉

Great Danes are fantastic! I have had 5 & they fill your life with so much love, laughter & joy. Yes, their up keep a more expensive that others but it's worth every penny!

Don't forget the "Heaviest" dog in modern records. Benedictine Von Schwarzwald Hof, a Saint Bernard from Pierson Michigan with a height at the shoulders of 39 inches and a recorded weight of 357 pounds when he was four years old. Although I did read something once of a Mastiff in Tibet that was 363 pounds. Benedictine's uncle Duke was 38 inches at the shoulder and 283 pounds.

Always bums me out when they mention the dogs have passed ... make me miss my old pups. Not only were these dogs huge, but loved and well taken care of ... basically a part of these people's families and that's the best part of having a pooch

The biggest dog I've ever seen was at the SPCA where I used to volunteer. His name was "Biggie Smalls" and he weighed 200 lbs. I'm not sure his breed but he looked like an oversized Lab and was very amiable.

There all duper cute!.I have three dogs.One of them is a huskey her name is Artimas.I have another one named zues he is a winner dog.And I have a lab misk his name is hurkelys.And I have a cat named Emma.And I have a hamster named berry from flash cause my hamster berry is super fast he is still a baby tho.And my sister has another hamster named. Stuwert.And my sister also has a genny pig.Our family loves let's so much there super cute.

I had a Great Dain once . She is very happy now and lives on a farm with an old sweet couple . But she needed a bigger space so we had to give her away . Who wants to hear her story. Like and comment if you do and I'll tell yall I don't even care if y'all want to know or not I'll just put it here lol Ok so we got her from your average dog breeder and decided to name her Athena after the godess But like many dogs, she grew too much for us to handle She ruined our outdoor couch Chewed everything you could possibly imagine. And she was way too rough for the family But her tail, oh her long tail wacked me on the legs so many times We sent her to doggy boring school for 3weeks And had to get her tail shorted because we didn't want her to hurt herself We were trying to find a home for her when my step moms dad told his coworker about the situation Her husband had recently retired and they live on a farm with lots of land. Her family has a history of great dains and they couldn't afford another one so we divided to give them Athena We actually now have 3 little Yorkies that are all sisters tell me if you want to hear about them

As a general rule The Irish Wolfhound is still regarded as the worlds tallest dog. All these large dogs are generally one offs . Also these dogs including the Irish wolf hound are prone to massive health problems and a very short life span

I live in Ireland and you rarely see Irish wolf hounds where I’m from but I happened to see one in dublin awhile back and they’re just HUGE like so much bigger than I expected them to be

My St Bernard is one yr old and already weighs 125lbs. Her Vet told us this isn't half of her size yet. Oh dear! Makes me wonder how big she's going to be. She's one of the sweetest dogs I've ever had.

I love big dogs but owning one would be a little to much (I can't handle them dying so soon). Usually smaller dogs live longer.

I had a Bernese mountain dog that weighed 130 and lived 12 years. He was 90 lbs at the time of his passing 😢
