My issues with ufc 3 1. stamina. 2. submission are to easy. 3. thia clinch is a automatic rock if you get hit with a knee or elbow. 4. if you get knocked down you most likely can't recover. 5. The judging system i won fights i should have lost and lost fights i should have won. 6. knockout animations.
@tommygun68666 жыл бұрын
5. I had a fight where my opponent was way better than me, had more significant strikes and more knockdowns, but I had 0:09sec. control, which was why I won a decision (i guess?).

benji no idiot the whole point of this video is that you can't walk them down. They don't slow down.
@boogiedownbronxny42146 жыл бұрын
EVO6 you definitely can slow them down. I know people are super aggressive without being punished properly. So the only you way to punish them is to take into your own hands with a constant body attack. That’s what I do every fight and I start the second round with most of my stamina while my opponent only has about 25% left. Problem with the stamina is, no matter how low the overall stamina is, they can always spam at the same speed until the overall stamina is done and they are wobbling because they are out of gas.

The_one cam cam in the game initially yes. Body takes the most to effectively DAMAGE. That being said if utilised properly any damage to the body is basically damage to long term stamina. The best way to use it is when stamina gets low. Body shots then directly and noticeably decreases overall stamina bar
@Halexos6 жыл бұрын
I agree with the Stamina, it definitely drains when you are careless but there isn't much of a punishment for it and it would be very interesting to see that in the Game. I also would like to point out how bad the controls feel, I'm sure in time they will be something that shouldn't be too hard to adjust to but they do not feel natural at all. Also, I would really like to have the opponents stamina/health bars turned off. Even if this is only available offline, this is so easy to develop and it would force the players to pay close attention to your opponents body language. The impact of this would be positively magnified if they also made a sanction for gassing out. Hopefully EA take note.
@Halexos6 жыл бұрын
The penalty for stamina loss in terms of speed and effectiveness would absolutely make or break the system of not having visibility of your opponents health/stamina situation. It would make judgement a factor and if you were teeing off landing some big shots, you have to make the decision if you are to risk emptying the tank to get them out of there or if you play it safe. I feel it would bring so much to the game, not only are you going to have to setup your attacks better and make judgement calls it also gives players the opportunity of using their experience over less experienced players to grind out a win if they naturally have less stamina than the other player. In some cases it cuts the game wide open and allows you to add so much more of yourself to every fight.
@GraysonKade6 жыл бұрын
*Big glitch I noticed that is game breaking.* Sometimes when you're on the bottom in half guard and your opponent is raining strikes down on you postured up, you can't transition. It won't let you. It just like freezes. Sometimes it won't even let you block. So you end up just getting pounded out. I kept wondering why I was beating people so easy from half guard posturing up ground and pound, until it happened to me a few times. You see the transitions available but they are greyed out and you cant do them no matter which one you try. You're totally frozen. There are other positions it happens too in like back mount, and maybe others im forgetting. But halfguard posture up is the worst. Needs to be fixed. Please relay this the devs, even though I'm sure they know about it by now, but you never know. Thanks.

Nick Diaz has used the question mark kick before, and even wheel kicks. He and Nate train together and have very similar styles, so it's not that hard to believe that Nate can do it too. However, it shouldn't be too effective or used to frequently by the AI.

I don't like the "bubble" around the fighters. It seems like the more I come forward the better my opponent gets at backpedalling. You shouldn't be able to out run a fighter coming forward while running backwards. Get a fighter pinned against the fence and suddenly none of your punches land. Or the fact that the AI catches EVERY single body kick, no matter where in a combo you hide it. Skipping this one too. tried SO hard o like it. Just can't. Making head movement control lunges is stupid. Or how about FOUR buttons to throw a spinning back kick? No thanks EA.

PLEASE READ MARTIAL! I’m putting this Comment in a Pros and Cons form. Pros: 1. Gameplay Feels very realistic. 2. Fighters Feel True To Life. 3. The Pace Feels Smooth But A Little Clumsy. 4. Online it seems as though you and your opponents can share the left side of the screen based on your camera settings? Like Fight Night Champion, if so that’s a big plus cause we grow used to the side we play on offline? Lol... NOW HERE GOES MY ISSUES with UFC 3?! CONS: 1. I think the game takes too much control from the player. 2. It’s too hard to tell when you can hit your opponent. 3. Punches are not accurate enough, for example the jab is weak and moves at the same speed of a hook or a cross, that’s not realistic?! A jab should be faster than a cross and a cross should be faster than a hook or a kick? 4. The defense doesn’t match the danger of the strikes and the game in general. 5. Perks expires now, if so micro transactions are gonna kill the potentials of how great this game can really be, especially if they fix your stamina issue?! Lol... 6. It’s not offering enough options to truely make your fighter unique in create a fighter like you were talking about in your UFC U 3 video?! 7. A lagger can destroy you easy in Stand up and on the ground! Smh... 8. It’s no option for players to go back to the old controls, I think that’s an issue because old controls allowed you to throw unique punches and be a little unconventional like FNC. Thank you if you made it this far and sorry for the book bro, but I think this is a conversation we should have?! Lol... Max respect Martial and thanks for being a player we love to see and discussing the issues we care about, great video bro! 😉👍🏽

So true, EA took a huge step back with this game, it feels like a shitty arcade game, the ko & knockdown animations are pure shit, the animations in general are garbage, the fighters walk around so slowly that it feels like you are walking through mud, also feels like you are sliding on ice when moving around, the cuts, blood, taunting have been nerfed dramatically honestly UFC 2 felt way more fluid & you could actually get some pretty dope ko's & the ko's were at least satisfying. I expected so much more from this game but it has just been a massive let down. Fuck EA.

Double V finally someone else addresses that! I’ve been wanting that problem fixed forever! It ruins the realism of the game, every time I’m rewarded with a realistic KO, it immediately gets shut down with the stupid ref animation waving his hands. A red shouldn’t wave his hands when I’m beating the fuck out of someone, they should five in front blocking extra strikes.

These things are sort of unrelated, but here’s some things I wish were possible/EA would consider along with this: 1. Pride mode with Pride rules and strikes/moves. Include the classic fighters like Cro Cop, The Nogueiras, Wanderlei, Hendo etc. (Don’t know if Rampage or Fedor could be included b/c of contracts with Bellator but they would be awesome too.) 2. EA using the mobile Game Face to add your likeness into the game. 3. More customizable walkout music. Maybe partner with a streaming service or something, or allow certain songs to be loaded on there like previous 2K games did. 4. Multiple broadcasters. Anik and Rogan of course, but I’d like to hear guys like DC and Felder, they’d probably be awesome with voice work. Obviously prevent them from calling their own fights though.

I'm sorry but if your biggest problem in the game is the stamina you're in-denial about the absolutely awful and unrealistic movement, striking and grappling animations. @mattjackson97606 жыл бұрын
They captured actual movements from real fighters for UFC 2..? What's realistic about the fighter being able to step side to side gliding without anchoring themself and pushing off their foot to go the other direction? What's realistic about moving your body Dominick Cruz style whilst gliding across the floor? What's realistic about getting knocked out and the body falling backwards like a budget movie and curling up into a ball? Come on now. You're clearly uneducated. I definitely agree and anyone who wants this game to resemble actual MMA fights should support this as well. The one thing I hope they DON"T change however that I have seen numerous players complain about is the ability for a gassed or rocked fighter to still be dangerous. Strikes should be slower and more sloppy yes, but if you recklessly come in for the kill and I land a big sloppy looping overhand-right right on the button you should most definitely get hurt from that. We have seen that happen a ton over the years in MMA. Speed, technique, and even power to a certain extent should be penalized for low stanima/rocked state but big slow shots should still hurt a lot if you're too reckless coming in.
@damiaanthelen51596 жыл бұрын
You are right man, I once got tired in a boxing match and it got to the point where getting hit felt less bad than throwing punches myself, I was too exhausted. Just stood there like a sitting duck and got taken out with a liver shot. When your stamina is all gone, so is your will to win or even move.

There's one thing missing from this that could be taken into consideration for future videos, that is, how lower stamina affects fighters on the ground and in the clinch. EA are known for ruining games with updates after release so be careful what you wish for. It's ok for you because you're a slow paced fighter. If they make low stamina have even more negative affects then every one will HAVE to fight a similar style, and aggressive fighters will get dominated (which is not always the case irl)

I have a few issues with the game I thought I’d share. First I think the game is a huge improvement striking wise. To the millions of people saying it looks tacky or too arcade like you have to play it to feel how smooth it is. Now for the negatives: As a jujitsu guy I’m always looking for takedowns striking to grappling transitions etc. I feel almost jipped that it’s the same poor grappling system as last years title. I wasted literally an entire round trying to escape a back clinch being denied OVER and OVER in the same animation. Also the same two variations for standard takedowns and the same two variations for the signature takedown as last year. Which the animations are horrible for maybe with the exception of the step around single leg. It’s not realistic. And it really infuriates me that the only time you can do signature character takedowns is if your opponent has low stamina or is rocked. But some how when they’re rocked they ALWAYS get away.... which is my next point. If an opponent is stunned or has been rocked multiple times their equilibrium is obviously disrupted.. that being said they shouldn’t be able to quickly back pedal getting just enough time to recover and catch me and stun me when I’m trying to finish... I hope to god some how this gets worked out leading to the release. I understand the casual fan is all about wars and striking matches. But what about the diehards that want the whole package?

Agreed of course, but sadly, given how they still think the ground game is fine the way it is, as well as the clinch, with the whole "transition faking" thing, I don't think realism is what they're after. Would love to hear a comprehensive summary on your thoughts on the game, now that the beta is out. Everything you like, dislike, about each facet of the game, definitely more so than just fight videos. Looking forward to it.

Agree with you martial, a perfect exemple is Nate Diaz beating one of the best striker in MMA ( McGregor ) cause he was gassed out ! And Diaz is not super technical he is 100 % wreckless
@sirswearsalot18136 жыл бұрын
JuMpErSpIkE But then they will have to change a few more things, like Diaz not being able to finish Conor in the second fight and Conor getting a second wind. Too many factors. Because if that is not done, all the opponent has to do is use a player with great stamina and wait for the opponent to gas and get the victory.

@Ryan-19926 жыл бұрын
I agree 100%. I also think it would be awesome if you were allowed one “second wind” for example.... when your gassed out, you are able to engage a second wind, maybe a 25 second window of extra stamina to push and try to win the fight.... I think that would be a cool feature. Good video MM

He's a gamechanger for EA of course he is talking to them directly but he's one guy he doesn't actually work for EA or is on the dev team. By putting videos out there of his opinions as well as talking to them himself, it's even more powerful, because then EA will see all the views, likes, and comments agreeing with him and know that its not just his opinion, it's shared by a lot of us. Thats how change actually happens. No one person has enough clout to make a change. Thats why its up to youtubers like Martial to call it like it is and make these videos so EA can see that the community agrees.

Great video!! Would love another video with what else you dislike and dislike about UFC 3. Everything you said is on point. I’ve lose 5-6 fights to the judges. My opponent would throw over 300-400 punches/kicks and barley land 120. Such a low percentage. They’re dead tired by the 3rd/5th round. I’ll have half to almost half my stamina and get knocked out if pressuring him. I average 250-300 thrown attack’s a game with at least 45% or higher landing. Not the best, but when they are spamming your kind of forced to spam and take chances.

Martial Mind i love and i agree with you on that. But what i would also like to see is when you're ground and pounding your opponent and when he is ko'd then the ref should jump in not just stand there and be like "stop" and waving his arms around i would really love that animation. And also the k.o. animation they just did them like it was on EA SPORT UFC 1.

I completely agree. I thought that they implemented or considered implementing movement fatigue when I saw fighters pause when getting blasted by leg kicks. I think in a game like UFC we definitely need to let people know the risk vs reward factor. Make the takedowns slower, reactions slower, offense slower, etc. Make things like leg kicks and body kicks greatly affect the way a fighter is to move and react. I’m glad they did implement checking kicks and allowed people to understand the consequences of not checking kicks, because some players just love to brawl and don’t care what’s coming their way. There should be a system based on your cardio that is effected by strikes that land vs strikes that miss, the amount of movement a fighter may typically move around in a ring (ex: Cruz moves around a lot more in the cage than a guy like Accauncao so make it more realistic of how often a fighter can travel in the cage), body shots, leg kicks, shots to the head and grappling significantly impacting the way a fighter is able to recover or slow down and the amount of submission attempts you go for (ex: If fighters continuously chase guillotine chokes in MMA they are likely to gas their arms out meaning less dangerous chokes and less effective punches).

Well said I haven't had much experience with the later rounds but you are definietly correct about the speed they should significantly slow down

Nice vid bro, i think leg strikes speed is too slow, but jab-straight sometimes too fast.
@shaiyasharahla91986 жыл бұрын
The stamina aspect can absolutely be improved. With that said, no matter my opponent, I adapt. Even with the most aggressive of fighters, I just focus more on capitalizing on my counter striking. And it pays off for me EVERY time. I personally can't complain, as countering is my fav'.
@Senorgusanos6 жыл бұрын
You make a really good point here. I hope they implement some kind of fatigue mechanic before release but I doubt it. I've been a fan of MMA for years. I've trained kickboxing and jiu jitsu for 7 years now and I know that when fatigue really hits you, you're fucked. That should be reflected in the game.

I agree, but a also think that some movements drain too much stamina which is not realistic either, there are few fighters who can go the 3 full rounds at a high pace and , they should take that into consideration too.
@Migo_Stevoo6 жыл бұрын
I can’t stand gliding around the octagon throwing punches that you pressed 2 min ago. The latency is pretty bad and sets you up for failure especially when R2 doesn’t let you cancel them out. Another thing that gets me annoyed is the over hand. That punch covers wayyyy too much distance and you can throw that thing with full force with very little to no stamina smh! I agree with every other thing you said as well. Great video as always!
@alimoorad59986 жыл бұрын
hey bro. subscribed a while back (been playing ufc since undisputed 1) and this is probably my first comment. i absolutely agree with you. How do we convince EA to change this? i mean, they have slow animations already and they can put a % decrease on stats relating to your stamina bar so they can nail 90% of what u asked for. how do we get them to implement this? this would make the game 100 times better than its current state which is pretty good already. As of now, Stamina is nowhere as close as how punishing it should be. if they fix it, the stand up would almost emulate real life ufc with ppl picking shots and all cause punches that miss kill ur stamina. Also, a neat feature would be excessive blood reduces the accuracy stat.
@smittytheking12186 жыл бұрын
I’ve noticed this as well. I would do five round fights against McGregor and use Ferguson. Despite spending 3 rounds body kicking and grappling them, they were still able to catch me and turn the tides.

I agree and also think that slipping, ducking, swaying etc should use a small amount of stamina. People shouldn't just be able to spam head movement without it affecting them in any way.
@askalucas4116 жыл бұрын
I could not agree more. This is just simply how things are in real life. I noticed the fighter speed and movement too, and it does seriously need to be fixed. I want fighter damage to come into effect as well like with what you said with the block. The more you block the weaker it gets. If only you and I could make a realistic mma game ugh... hopefully the devs and creators can change these HUGE problems.
@coletonw6 жыл бұрын
Last nights fights were a perfect example of what you're talking about. The Alvarez fight was an incredible, sloppy war at the end because they were both so tired and Holloway absolutely ran through Aldo after he gassed out. That would be an incredible addition to UFC 3. It would force the aggressive fighters to pull back a little bit or they risk gassing out too early with it actually having a profound effect. The striking slowed down significantly in this game which is great, but the strikes per round are still high compared to real UFC fights. This addition would greatly combat that.
@ainulhasan22466 жыл бұрын
tbh when someone is low on stamina they get rocked more quickly plus they can't throw the same amount of volume that they can in early rounds so it's pretty easy to get them out once they gas in this game.but I still agree with everything you said,it would make the game even more realistic.

This is why UFC undisputed 3 was and still is the GOAT of MMA games. Not only was there a simulation mode where fighters would get tired much easier, but fighters also had advantages that they would tell you like “conditioning, NCAA wrestler, Speed, Size, etc, etc”. And it was actually noticeable like if you picked a guy who had good conditioning as a strong point and you fight someone who does not, you will notice that you do actually have a bigger gas tank then your opponent.
