In the viper's nest of Hollywood, power plays and egos collide with the force of titans. Imagine you're right there, amid the glittering careers built on backstabbing and betrayal. Here stands a mogul, wielding power like a king from his throne, capable of launching careers with a nod or crushing them with a whisper.
His rival?
A famed actor, adored by millions. Yet, behind the scenes, he was a master manipulator. His charm faded under the spotlight of truth. Together, they orchestrate a dance of dominance that ensnares the entire industry.

Lucille Ball was a woman in a man's world. If you look at the things that studio bosses did..she had to be tough or fail.

She accepted all the goodies of stardom, at least for a time. She jilted John Gilbert at the altar and humiliated him. Perhaps she was right. At least her aloofness did not affect her professionalism. She also made a big deal about it, which whet the appetite of press and public even more.

Lucy was formidable! But she had to be. She took over Desilu and was the first woman to do this! If it were a man that was demanding, no one would say anything. She knew what to do to make her show a success! Even Desi knew this!

These people and many others in the entertainment arena one time would have done anything to get any kind of recognition but once they have made it their noses go in the air as they believe non-celebrities are just dirt under their feet. At some time even the nicest of them behave in this manner. I have a famous person in my family and I used to love here dearly until her demeanor changed dramatically over time, She's now too much in love with herself to care for anyone else, Two wasted marriages as well. so sad. Celebrity who wants it, I sure in hell don't

Robin Williams would steal jokes too. So egregiously, in fact, he would use the jokes immediately in his act, even if the comedian he stole them from was present. It sounds to me like Greta Garbo doesn’t belong on this list. She wasn’t a jerk, she just wanted her privacy respected. Most actors operate from a perspective of ego fueled entitlement, and an overwhelming desire to find the spotlight. Greta seemed a refreshing change. In fact, she left the industry in her prime to get the privacy she desired. I can respect that.
